Uh... you could try... but it'd be a pricey experiment if you used them for more than a day or 2 before preg test... and unless you were BFP bound you wouldn't even be able to answer that question at the end of the experiment. That is why I like the cheapies, the only digi I have ever used was a preg digi. I honestly don't know though. If I had to hazard a guess I'd probably say that you probably wouldn't even get a flashing smiley until about when you'd get a faint BFP, because they are made to not jump the gun based on small fluctuations and that is what you are watching for with the OPKs.. watching to see if it gets darker each day (make sure not to compare a wet test to a dry one!!). Perhaps if you are able to take the digi apart and look at the test strip inside? But I honestly don't know :shrug: I'd be interested to know if you happen to try it out and are preggo though!!

Hahaha I've got just the four sticks leftover from last couple months so I might use from 8 dpo thru to 11dpo regardless of whether I get bfp or not - just as an experiment. Me and dh have decided we'll try for only one more cycle if this cycle is a bust. This ttc has taken over our lives as its been in the planning for the last six months, feels like we are standing still and unable to move in any direction. I definately cant do more than one more cycle on this diet either :). So if its meant to be it will be otherwise I will look forward to focusing on my boys and getting on with my life. I know I haven't been giving them my full attention or dh so its not fair on them to keep on doing so.

Well, :fx: that you get a BFP this cycle and don't have to worry about that ;)

ETA: is it just me or does it seem like the days are crawling? Lol. Only 5 more days until 8 DPO... :pray: we both get a BFP, then we can be due date buddies too ;)

ETA again ;) We haven't been trying as long as some of you... unless you count the loss we had. But I am desperate for a BFP for so many reasons lol the one at the top of my list this cycle is I can get through at least the first month before I start school (tired and nauseous not exactly conducive to studying lol). Also, I REALLY don't want to be preg in May as I mentioned before. I feel for those of you who have been doing this awhile.. I know all to well what it is like.

oh yes the days are crawling alright! Can't believe its only 3dpo lol. Makes you want to go to sleep and wake up in 5 days time :)
I would love it if we both got bfps!! How awesome would that be!! Was just thinking it sucks we're in different time zones and cant test at same time :)

I know!!!! If only that would work :rofl: No can't test at the same time, I just can't hold it that long :giggle: but you have the upper hand ;) when you wake up and test you can also check and see if I updated. I have to wait like a million years, hahahaha, just kidding ;)

This is only my 2nd attempt two just been in the planning for sooo long. Never thought it would take such a toll. I'm really hoping you get your bfp especially after your previous loss. You deserve this so much! I know 3 months isn't really a realistic outlook (especially since my boys were 4 & 6 months) to get pregnant in but its what we're working with :( I'm fine about it atm, can't say how I'll be if no go this or next cycle.

I am kinda working with the same timeline. I am on clomid to O earlier (yeah that didn't work!) and improve egg quality to try to prevent another loss (she had Trisomy 22, a duplication of chromosome 22 which is incompatible with life, and DH and I have both been tested and it isn't a genetic defect, so we are hoping improving egg quality will help prevent a repeat)as well as to, hopefully, help me get preg sooner. I read a post on here that says after 3 cycles the chances of getting preg on clomid starts to go way down (special circumstances 2 post) and while I could ditch the clomid and O on my own, it is my only method of improving egg quality so I want to get preg within that 3 cycle window. So, realistic or not, I totally get it. If you don't mind me asking, after the 3 months, if no BFP, are you going to be NTNP or TTA?

No Twointow we will stop trying altogether. This may sound weird as I know there is absolutely no guarantee with swaying but I'd rather know I've done what I consider all I can to ttc girl (even if I was to fall with boy) than add attempts go off diet etc and end up conceiving boy. Hope this makes sense. Guess I'm saying I could be totally ok with a boy as long as I've tried my best for a girl....
