TTC Girl - February 2012

Prayforprincess~ I love what you said to your mom- its so true sperm just needs to meet egg it has nothing to do with how badly you want it. Dh wants to go to dinner next week Friday night. It will be about a week past O. I figured I would get a salad. still be vegeterian. I will go over sodium, cals, and probably protein. If the egg is already fertilized the food I eat is not changing the gender! I will keep glucose low, skip breakfast, but I don't think one meal will make the egg not implant. I like the Ruth Chris idea. I've been toying with where we are going to go with a BFP. I'm thinking China Town in NYC for peking duck!!!

What do you ladies think~ I have been dtd everyday since Monday. I would have started Wednesday but I started Monday bc I thought my injection was going to be Tuesday not Thursday. Anyway, did the injection yesterday, so this am we dtd and will again in the pm. With all this baby dancing going on I had a gross smell (sorry, nasty) so I just used rephresh thinking all the DTD is raising my ph. I only wanted to use half, but way more came out then I planned. Now I'm regretting it a little. I can't test CM because I have none like NONE even trying to get from my cervix. I'm worried I hindered conception right on the day I probably should O. and I was hoping with 4 follicles to possible get two eggs, and now that doesn't seem likely using the rephresh. Am I being ridiculous?? Thoughts. Thanks

I will start testing at 9dpo which is Sunday! I have absolutely no symptoms except sore bbs but i've had that since 2 days before O so that really means nothing. Not counting on anything this month.

9dpo is Sunday for me too! We must have o'ed the same day...the 17th? I think I am too nervous to test that early. Have you ever gotten a positive that early at 9dpo? I feel like I have always had late implanter's.

That happens to me all the time -- I think I am squeezing just a tiny bit and the whole thing comes out. You don't have to squeeze all the way for the entire amount to come out -- its only a little bit anyway.
I think you did a good thing. You lowered your ph before the egg has been released, good. And also, you already have all that sperm up there -- 3-4 attemps are still alive easy. Using rephresh after the fact is going to do nothing to those sperm cause they are already out of your vg and into a safe place. The rephresh cannot touch them or affect them in any way -- they are gone! It may affect the sperm in your attempt following using the rephresh but that is probably the extent of it. The in and out of dtd, dh releasing etc. washes some of it away and therefore your attempt after that you will still be fine.

WTF! I just plugged in my temp on ff and they changed my ovulation from cd11 to cd13. Now I myslef did not think I o'ed on cd11, I thought it was more like early morning cd12. But I don't think it is cd13 either! I still think I o'ed on cd12. I got my +opk on cd11, and then I started to have really bad bloating and ovulation cramps all thru cd12 into the afternoon on cd13. Plus when I woke up cd12 I had had an ever so tiny tiny bit of spotting and I read that could mean you are ovulating.
I am just so nervous now...I don't know what to think. We went out to dinner Sunday night and I had some chicken because I thought I already o'ed. I mean, I know by that point I did o, and I keep telling myself that even if I did o on cd13 (saturday), most likely by Sunday night my egg was either already dead or fertilized cause the sperm was all up there waiting.
I still think it was cd12 -- can't change it now. I just wish now that we dtd on Saturday just incase that was my o day, but my dh was so done and tired from all the bding. We dtd Wed. night, Thur morning & night, and Fri morning & night. I think I o'ed that Friday, ff thinks I o'ed on Saturday.
Do you all think I am freaking over nothing. I still have a good chance, no?

Prayforprincess~ thanks..its true all my previous attempts are still at work. I guess i'm worried about tonights attempt and tomorrow (my last) that if I released a 2nd egg I wanted sperm to meet it.....Oh well, its too late, did the rephresh have to stay relaxed and move on! I might have worried if I didn't do it too! Theres a trade off to everything I guess

im going for a huge meal tonight with meat yes meat i hear you say lol, well AS told me that once you have confirmed O you can have a cheat day once a month, she said this was fine when i asked her and that it would do nothing to our sway, even have meat it will not matter one bit, so for just one meal hun eat what the hell you like !

I seem to have more of a grasp and objective/realistic output with other's than I do myself.
My temp had already risen over 98 by Sunday, confirming o had happened and no matter what I ate Sunday night could not have affected the outcome. What was going to be, was already by then.
I am just a 911 drama freak I think.

You are def freaking over nothing. Still totally possible you O'd when you thought, and even if its when FF is saying you still have an EXCELLENCT chance. With all that bding anyway, another attempt might not have counted for much anyway :) do you have a link to your chart?

No you not. Its because this is beyond incredibly important to us, our own objectivity goes out the window. Words cannot describe the gender DESIRE going on here!
