If I don't get the gender scan it won't be till the growth scan early March. I don't want to wait that long :( Especially not after all the boy guesses.
Hi ladies, can I join you? I'm due 20th July + just recently had my 1st scan which put me at just over 13 weeks, I have 4 boys from 1-10 yrs old already so. Really hoping this is our girl - was a surprise baby tho but my previous son was a failed girl sway. We're booked in for a gender scan on 12th feb! :-). X

Junie - You are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I've got 4 long days until my gender scan. The closer it gets the more positive I am that it's 2 boys. I'm really trying not to get down about it, but it's hard. I feel like the universe is punishing me for trying to sway. A loss and then TWO opposites... oh my, I feel like I've been more than punished! I realize that's horrible to think that way and that if these 2 babies are healthy I'm the luckiest lady in the world. I'm trying to be grateful. I promise.
How are you all holding it together while waiting for your gender scans? We booked an elective scan for Wednesday (5 more sleeps) and it's allllll I can think about. I have "early but girl" guesses from everyone on every site on my nub shot - and I know that's a pink nub - but I can't help having insane anxiety about this scan coming up. It's all I think about!! It's super annoying! HA - so I'm curious as to how others are coping.
I feel like I wont even be able to walk into the room by the time the day comes because I'll be so nervous. I hate that I feel this way and if I do end up with a boy that i've stressed so much about this - a baby is a beautiful addition to our family either way and I feel bad that i'm getting this hung up over the gender. I think because of my nub shot and the fact that EVERYONE keeps saying "You need a girl" - that I have had my hopes up too much - but when I even try to prepare to hear boy i just can't bring myself there to even start to process it. I don't know if its because I prefer girl or because I subconsciously know I don't need to prepare to hear boy? Does any of this make sense?
Linz - 5 sleeps for you and 4 for me, how exciting! My situation is a bit different from your's because my chances are >50% of boy and your's is very high chance of girl from your great nub shot! I'm not sure if having a higher chance of boy makes mine "easier" because I've basically accepted it's 2 boys or if it's harder going in knowing it's "probably" a girl and that makes the anxiety even worse. Either way it's impossible for me to concentrate on anything else lately and I'm a huge ball of nerves. I can completely relate!

I looked at your scans again Bluebonnet and yours certainly is a toughy. It just wasn't clear enough to declare stack vs fork. But it was flat so I hold out hope for your girls! I wish you had video then I could be sure!
I get it linzshine and its WORSE when you know what you are looking for. I had a 2.5 hour drive to get to my early gender scan. The night before was oh god oh no now I cant sleep but I need to.. The whole drive was what if, I had myself prepared to hear boy but am I ready? Then it took 11 minutes for her to uncross her legs to get a clean shot. The whole time It was well the skull looks boyish.. wait the nasal bone wasn't imaged... ok there is is thats girly. WAIT DID I JUST SEE A BOY PART STICKING UP? nope that was cord nevermind. It was a freaking rollercoaster! Im better at hiding my emotions in public my DH was the one crying when she said girl but I was almost right behind him with the tears.
I get why you have the back and forth with so much positive girl guessing that puts you in the safe zone and then you have that nagging what if right behind it. To the non nub-obsessed we all probably look and sound like crazy people LOL
