Lovemy4 - bright white line

Thank you so much for helping me to understand the nub theory better. I'm sure it will take a while till I can figure them all out like you can. Below are all confirmed boy nubs- which is why I was uncertain about the white line in that recent nub post. I have read that it can be the hip bone and not necessarily the nub. Is that not true? Thanks again for your help. I appreciate your expertness :)

I'm not whom you've asked but the spines are not straight in the lower pics you posted. Some are circled and at least one is arched...the first under the arrow one could be arched too- you actually cannot see the spine. It throws off the angle of the nub either way.

It does throw off the angle on those. But don't you think if lines were to be drawn it still wouldn't be more than 30 degrees.

Some of the pics also show a faint blob on top of the bright white line which is the boy nub hiding behind the white line part of the nub. sometimes the smallest of twist in baby can hide it. please look at my confirmed boy shots for some more examples :)

You definitely had a couple that looked girly. But you also had ones that were short and the blob bit was pretty pronounced. Interesting that yours are from the same baby!

Nbp- so if the baby isn't totally flat (spine) is a nub guess inaccurate?

I'm not a tech but I know that's what you look for to gauge the correct angle. An arched spine makes it point falsely downward. A curved spine, up.

That's why I feel iffy about mine still - I don't think it was laying exactly flat.

Ohhhh! Now I understand! Thank you! So if the spine is curved it's not very accurate?
