Just started diet....few q's
Hi All,
I have just started the girl diet, hopefully I am eating the right things but I had a few questions.
Is it important to make all the changes now, esp dramatically reducing salt intake along with the other diet requirements or are some of them only important leading up to ttc?
I am hoping to ttc in about 6 - 8 weeks so I am trying to get things sorted now.
Also I am dramatically reducing my calorie intake, but is something like that important this whole time or only in the few weeks leading ut to ttc?
I kind of find it hard to find things that I can eat, I guess there is prob not much. But what I am finding is that a lot of the food is pretty high in carbs, is this ok for the girl diet? For instance a lot of rice and pasta, I thought I could eat bread until I looked at the sodium in it, I think I saw a recipe here and will look that up. Are creamy sauces ok with the pasta? WHat about a tomato based sauce? I think we can't have tomotos but what about if it is cooked?
I am sorry for all the questions, especially if they have already been answered somewhere else. I can't believe I am so close to trying so I want to feel comfortable with my sway...I plan on getting all of the calcium and magnesium in my diet, no supps. What would I eat for the magnesium or would you all recommend supps more? Gosh I sound desperate dont I. lol
