Boy???

Hi all! Just got an elective ultrasound at 14 weeks 3 days and the tech said it is definitely a boy!! I showed the pics to some friends and they told me that the three white dots indicate a girl?? I know 14 weeks is still early. Any ideas if the ultrasound is correct? We will be thrilled with a boy or a girl!

3 dots can look like a girl but your pic looks like my son's at 13 weeks.

not the best boy image i have seen but it could just be a bad shot, if the tech was looking for a while she would be basing things on more than just one shot.

There is always the chance at that gestation though that swollen girl parts can be mistaken for boy parts but if the tech seemed sure then i would trust their opinion but if not maybe tell them your unsure and want a second opinion, elective places are often happy for you to go back in a weeks time if the scans are unclear

A girl would look more like a hamburger. A boy will look more like a pyramid. Like yours does. I think boy too :)
