DH and his damn soda!

I told DH he can't drink as much soda anymore. Not only is it unhealthy.... it might mess up our sway! Now I'm not saying no soda ever again but this man can drink a damn 2 liter in one meal. He is not chunky and he has a very physical job but enough is enough. Will soda ruin our sway bunches?

I would think it wouldn't ruin it at all.

I don't have the official answer, but my DH always drank tons of soda when we conceived DS. DH hates water and only likes sugary beverages. When I would get fed up with his soda addiction he would switch to things like apple juice or cran grape juice or other sugary things like that as an alternative. Maybe your DH would switch to juice? If not I doubt it hurts the sway much.

I have plenty of friends with boys that have husbands who drink soda!!

My hubby was drinking loads of soda when we had our 3 boys!

DH has the biggest smile on earth because of the responses.:suprise: Thank you ladies! I still want him to drink less, his addiction is crazy. His mother used to put coca cola in his sippy! At least now we know it might be ok in moderation for our sway. Thanks again!

Just for extra reassurance - I have two boys and don't think I've ever seen DH drink water. It was all energy drinks, soft drinks, sports drinks etc. I, on the other hand would drink at least 2 liters of water daily and hadn't touched soda for about 10 years before I started my girl sway!

Not proud of this but I exclusively drink coke or Pepsi. I am not over weight in decent shape. We just got confirmation that we are having a boy. If you are trying for a boy. Use preseed, I feel that has been a common factor in many success stories for couples going for blue.

I thought fizzy drinks swayed boy because if caffeine being higher and to sway a girl was low everything ?

But I am confused cause where I live we by soda we mean soda water and the other beverages with the commercial names. I think soda in some countries is for cokes???
