Doing td every 4 days does it mean dtd on day one, and on day 4? Or should there be 4 whole days in between, without dtd? Monday we dtd, wednesday i had a positive ovulation test. So should we do do it again today? Or tommorow. I had cramps yesterday evening, and I have been on clomid this month. Tia!

Ah - we DTD Sunday so maybe we are not quite on the same pattern. Atomic said to me that either was fine.
Either is fine. CD1, CD4, CD8 etc is less strict, CD1, CD5, CD10 etc is slightly better chances of pink but also lower chances of conception.
Thanx maidentomother. You are right honeybee, I miscalculated!!! It turns out my hubby and I won't add another attempt. Fx for his swimmers than! We dtd on monday to tuesdaynight at 1:00. Hopefully his swimmers make it😊🍀

On Clomid I would suggest having another attempt just to be absolutely sure you're covered in case of delayed O. Tonight is good if not too late
Thanx atomic! But we didn't last night. I was really unsure about my ovulatietests, and we dtd too soon. Next month i Will absolutly whait for the positive test.

The rules have to be different on Clomid though. You can't take chances on missing months on Clomid, you have to try every month. I think you need to drop one attempt now and go with every 4 days or even every 3 depending on how long you've been on Clomid. If you're longer than 4 months on it now, you need to switch to every 4 days plus one more attempt at positive OPK.
I would still have you attempt just in case you haven't ovulated yet.
Thank you so much atomic. This is my first month on clomid. I have concieved quicly my last two pregnancys(i have 3 boys), so i'm not really afraid it will take very long to concieve. I know this time it could be different, also i am 35 now, but i'm still not afraid.
Are you saying the odds of pink are still as high if we dtd every 3 or 4 days? Because i really want to give the one attempt a good shot. Also, if we dtd 2 days before a positive ovulation test would you still advice another attempt?
And would you advice to use a second batch?

If you're only on first month of Clomid then you have more leeway, if you wanted to try another month with one attempt at positive OPK that is up to you.
We don't know if every 4 days is as good as one attempt at positive or not. The results have been really good but it's a newer method and sometimes they start off great and then taper off as more people start doing it. The point is NOT that these things will always have the same success rate, but that after 2 or 3 months on Clomid you have to start changing things up to improve odds of conception. E3d is probably NOT as good as one attempt or e4d is, for chances of pink. Better odds of conception though.
2 days before positive OPK could be as much as 4 days before ovuation, or even longer if O is delayed. That will be VERY low chances of conception. Yes, I think you would need to ideally have another attempt in that case.
I don't think the second batch idea is worth anything. GEtting pregnant on Clomid and with one attempt or e4d will already give you a great chance. Don't then make conception impossible by adding tons of stuff that will cut odds of conceiving to nothing.
Ok thanks a lot! We simply can not dtd again, because i found out today that i have a yeast infection, due to antibiotics. (Sorry tmi)So i think i Will move on to the next cycle anyway. Really a bummmer!!
