Dtd Monday, ovulated Friday

Chances are pretty slim for me this month, right? I had opks from the Tuesday night to Friday night that were all dark and equal shade between test and control line. Friday's was slightly even darker though with the control line darker than the test line before it went negative on Saturday. Didn't temp, but I do think that I ovulated on Friday.

How many of you ladies have conceived that far ahead of time?? I had lots of ewcm the whole time so I guess that could have helped.

Next month I will definitely just keep up with the every 4 days xx

If the control line was darker than the test line on Friday, wouldn't that have been a negative? Sorry, maybe I'm just reading wrong. I'm also pretty new at OPKs. It sounds like you had 3 days of positives, Tues, Wed and Thurs? So maybe you o'd on Thursday if your first positive was on Tuesday.

How long your surge is tells you nothing about when you ovulated. All it tells you is you had an LH surge.

When you get your very first positive, ovulation typically occurs 24-48 hours regardless of when the opks fade out.

I think based on when you got your first positive, which was on Tuesday (it doesn't matter how dark), you most likely ovulated sometime Wednesday or Thursday.

Thanks XXforhubby. Fingers crossed then! Only reason I think Friday is because although all the other tests were dark and same colour as control line, Friday's test line was darker than the control x

Lol Beau! Thanks for pointing that out. I typed it wrong, I meant the other way around. The test line was darker than the control line on Friday. The other days they were the same shade as each other xx

If you think Friday's test was positive then you may have O'd on Saturday. Did you DTD any other time? Without temps it is really hard to know when O was.

I know, it's so hard to know without temps. It's just so confusing as Tuesday-Thursday were 100% positive as they were dark and the lines were equal. Friday's was just that fraction more, as instead of being equal in colour like the others, this time it was darker.
Didn't DTD any other time, no. Part of the week I wasn't able to as DH was away, and then on Friday I decided to not try again as I wasn't 100% happy with my sway yet.. But now deep down I'm hoping I am pg. Lol x

I guess it could also depend on the concentration of the sample so it could have happened earlier if you are sure they were all positive.

I don't think you ever be 100% happy with a sway, there will always be doubts.
