Clomid and ovulation

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone with clomid experience can answer my questions...
This is my second round of clomid (100), I had an us on cd 11 and had 2 dominant follicles on the left both measuring about 15 I think!! I am now on cd 16 and I still haven't had a pos opk. Do you think I won't ovulate this cycle? Last time I ovulated on cd16 on the same dose taken the same days, would it be the same? Last time the follicles were on the right which is my better side! Is my left side just a failure? I am having another us on Monday but I'm worried it'll be too late and I'll miss my chance this month. Any help appreciated,

Have you asked your doc about a trigger shot? Some people respond better when given a trigger.

Most everyone's right side is their "good" ovary, Lefty just sort of takes over when Mr. Right can't make it LOL.

Hopefully you will either O soon or you'll be able to request a trigger on Monday! KFX for you!

Thank you, I'm assuming they'll give me a trigger on Monday if the follicles are still there, I don't know how likely that is, does anyone know?

I would definitely ask about a trigger injection. Hopefully your opks will turn positive soon!

They'll still be there in some form, you just want them to not be past their prime. I suspect they'll either go on their own, or you'll be in time for the trigger on Mon.

Oh and I sorta missed this question the first time but each month can be different on Clomid, there's no guarantee you will O the same day from month to month, even if you take the same dose Clomid on the same day.

I did, thank you, it's fab information and I'm slowing getting my head around it!! I'll update about tomorrow but feel my body has decided not to ovulate, I am no longer getting ovulation signs and my cervix has closed, I hope it's not too late!!

Check back because I am working on specific diet guidelines, I just wanted to get posted what I had so far. :)

Just to update, scan today showed one follicle now measuring 20mm which is great!!!! Don't know what happened to the other one, sono thought it might have been a cyst that has burst. Waiting to find out if I need trigger shot. Anyone else had a trigger shot?
