Whoops.
Well, I don't quite know what to make of this, but I DTD Friday night with spermicide alone, and then Saturday I woke up with EWCM. Lots of EWCM. I thought it was maybe just leftover spermicide but now today it's still there.
I haven't ovulated in like 2 years so I really wasn't being as careful as I should. I did mostly wean my older son last month so I should have been prepared for this but I'm still nursing my baby and nursing them both at night...IDK I just thought I would be safe!!!
Not going to mention this to DH without knowing for certain but I think I need to be considering myself in the 2WW:sigh:
-
Ooooh, that's exciting!!!!
For me, when I nursed both of my boys, I had more EWCM than when I wasn't nursing. I know that lots of women say that breastfeeding dries out their CM but not me. Maybe that's the same for you and you're not actually ovulating. Or maybe you are? Guess you'll find out in 2 weeks or so! :)
And how do you know for sure that you haven't ovulated? I was always one of the "lucky ones" (LOL) who got PPAF when babies were only 4 months old despite EXCLUSIVING breastfeeding for 7 months straight!
How do you feel? Nervous? Excited?
-
Wow. Any other ovulation symptoms?
-
This is WAY more EWCM than I have had at any point except the month I got pg with Marshall. I know I didn't ovulate before because I never got AF...my understanding is that if you ovulate, you for sure have AF. I haven't even spotted in all this time.
NBP - I ~may~ have noticed O pains yesterday on my left side. I say may because I have been achy off and on since I had Marshall. o.O
-
-
Woot! I'm very excited at the possibilities here! I can't believe you haven't Oed in that long. I can bfeed exclusively and I O within 3 months! Grrrrr! Some people are so lucky!
-
Could the EWCM be some of your DH's "stuff" left behind too? I know I have a hard time differentiating sometimes.
-
Pretty exciting since I know you've been wanting another --would be nice if you had a little surprise :)
-
Even if you're not ready, I'm ready for you!!!! This is exciting news and why am I just now hearing about it!?!?! ;)
Tons of baby dust headed your way!
-
-
How long do you think before you can test? Or are you going to?
-
I hope you get whatever answer you want :)
-
-
How exciting! How are you feeling??
-
Neato! I just now saw this. I hope you get what you want! :)
-
Wooo I'm excited for you :p
I certainly thought that the EWCM I was seeing was Dh's "leftovers" because it was a bit early for it... well here I am almost 23 weeks pregnant ;p
After massive ups and downs this pg related to a "surprise" pg and GD... I'm finally feeling a bit better and trusting that babies come when they are supposed to :)
Hopefully you get the outcome you want from things ;)
-
Thank you guys! I did feel a bit crampy yesterday but it's gone now so I'm thinking no. I think I'll test maybe at 10 DPO?? I've never tested that early before!!!
-
I usually start at 7dpo...LOL! POAS confessions! I always get mine by 11 dpo.....
-
-
No symptoms at all, I'm thinking negatory. It's ok, I had been burning the candle at both ends anyway and I would worry about not having a healthy eggo!!
-
How many dpo are you now???? Is is test time!!!!???
-
Tagging. Look forward to an update. Hope it works out the way you want it to. Goodluck.
-
-
I think I will test on Friday, but I am 99% sure it will be negative. No symptoms at all.
-
-
This sounds crazy but I really don't want to test. I think it will be negative, the timing is bad for a positive anyway, and I kinda just don't want to know.
Does that sound totally crazy??? :p
-
yes it sounds crazy! I want to know! :)
-
Us stalkers out there want to know! What DPO will you be?
I didn't test until AF was definitely late with baby #2 and #3 b/c I didn't want to spend money on a test if I didn't need it. But I tested at 10DPO with baby #4... this baby I had NO symptoms and was literally expecting AF the next day when DH told me to test... I did knowing it would be negative. Well it was positive right away. Heh.
-
I guess it depends on which side of the + or - you are hoping for! Maybe you don't know what you really want and the test means the end or the beginning of something and that is kind of a big deal.
-
Yes, that's it exactly. I don't know what I really want. We just found out that my husband's father is dying last week so it's not the greatest timing (although me being 40, it's the only timing there is!) and I haven't told him yet. Obviously once I know for sure, then I have to tell him and he is not going to be thrilled.
-
-
I have often said we get nine months to get used to the idea of a baby for a reason :) Most of us come around :p
-
Testing Friday!?! Woo hoo, GL, I hope it turns out whichever way your hoping!
-
woo hoo I think all of us were O'ing at the same time :D kup!!
-
I tested and BFN!!! Probably for the best but still a little sad.
-
-
-
-
Dang I just saw this. I'm sorry.
-
Sorry about the BFN! Boooo!
