Anyone conceive a girl 12 hours before ovulation / on ovulation day?? Was aiming for a 2 day cut off but the month I conceived I ovulated early (which never happens! typical!) Myself and DH were taking all the relevant supplements and we changed diet. CM PH was about 5.5 - 6 (low for me) Also had 12 day abstinence (prev. boys conceived after frequent BD!)
Looking for some hope of having a girl after 3 boys, but would like honest opinions .... Thank you :-)
I don't know exactly when I O'd (there's no way to tell that precisely without ultrasound!) but I conceived my girl (also after 3 boys :D) DTD on O day :D

I believe I concived this girl on O day. I BD'ed early that morning and the ultrasound dates and the baby measured exactly on the day I believe I O'ed, so unless the sperm from 3 days prior made it (which I doubt it, I would think the fresher sperm would have fertilized the egg) then I am having a girl from a BD on O day.
Timing will not determine gender so I wouldn't worry about that.
Yes, I got my DD after 4 boys by BD the night before O day (confirmed by ultrasound) and 3 of my 4 boys BD with at least a 2-3 day cutoff.

Yes, me after 4 boys I got my DD late at night the night before O day. O was confirmed by ultrasound and we only DTD once so there is no doubt! :) Got most of my boys with cutoffs too BTW.

I've been reading your articles from where I got all my swaying info.however,since I'm living in Egypt,I don't have all supplements and tools you suggest to sway a girl...but still,I've been ttc a girl which I'm desperate for for 6 months now with no success:( I did c/ o for 3 days and for 2 days and no success.so my husband decided that's the last month I would go on the diet and try to sway so I would like to increase my chances,therefore I would like to Dtd the night before o after 7 days abstinence, what do u think about that? And do u recommend Dtd once only or twice that day??

Just one attempt has shown best results. 2 attempts was ok but not as good as 1 attempt. 3 attempts was not good and made a lot of boys!!

I've one more question for this single Dtd that I'm hanging all my pink dreams on:)
So I'll use vinegar wash or rephresh,le diet, last night before o once or maximum twice.
Do u suggest jumping afterwards?or lieng on my side? Or having legs up? And for how long?
I guess I got my boys by jumping so why not trying legs up?or it's a boy method like the old fairies say?

If you are doing one attempt, I think it's a good compromise to lay flat for 5 min and then get up OR do immediate J and D.
It doesn't matter if you got your boys jumping up right after BD, it still sways blue to lay flat afterwards. "Doing the opposite" only helps when waht you were doing before actually swayed in the wrong direction! If you didn't lose weight on the Atkins diet, the solution is not to do the opposite and suddenly eat nothing but birthday cake. Don't lay flat for longer than 5 min. after intercourse unless you are not getting pg.

So it's totally fine to dtd when you get a +opk? I was thinking that might be the easiest and least stressful, but I figured it'd get me another monkey boy. Seriously, thanks so much for all of the information! I am amazed at how much has been written since 2007!!
It really is the least stressful by a longshot. Not only that but it's also much higher odds of conception. Timing does not sway and several of us got our girls on the day before ovulation after having several Shettles opposites (myself included)Quote:
