Hi girls! Thought id start a thread for those of us who will be ttc in july and aug! We can all be crazy together! LOL. Pink dust to us all!!
Ive got 2 boys, 5 and 2. We are ttc a girl for our 3rd! We have been ttc 1 month so far. AF just came on june 23 so ttc will be in a week or so depending.
Whats everyone else doing for their sway?
Yay I have been waiting for a July thread,I have 2 boys 7 and 21 months,we are trying for our 3rd and final baby in July,I have been doing weight watchers diet,will be doing fr,frolic acid and Zyrtec,lots of neg ions,rephresh,and lots n lots of praying:.)hopefully this will be a month full of bfp's pink dust to all
Hi ynwa! that sounds like a great sway, will you be monitoring your ph? or douching?
No not doing either I plan on leaving it in the hands of rephresh,I did try checking ph but it stressed me out,I am also drinking lots of diet drinks and peppermint tea,(yuck)I have been skipping breakfast too.whats your plan?
diet and supps, checking ph , will douche hour before bd, and check ph after and lime douche tampon. just timing im unsure about, i keep flippin back and forth...last month i did 3 day cut off, im thinking of bd after i get pos on opk. what are you doin for timing?

this diet is brutal, i just want to eat potatoes lol. when are you due to O? what cd are you? im cd4
O is due tomorrow,will skip this month I have put my back out and am taking diazepam,so think its best.plus don't think I could bd at all right now,argh for back pain.

hello girls, im hoping and contemplating starting my sway.. im just soo scared!!! i have been on the vitamins calcium, cranberry and folic for few weeks now!! i have just started on my diet and was thinking about a douche, i read and read and get so confused on what to do and when!!!! i can only pray for pink, i have 2 boys one 5 and one 3 this will be our final baby and so hoping for a gorgeous daughter of my own xxx

I am planning to try in August! I would love to try in July, but have only been on diet 2 weeks and really want to give it 6 wks. I have lost weight already by skipping breakfast and trying to eat 2 meals (no meat) with 1-2 snacks (I am usually starving - only thing that keeps me sane). I too, have two boys 4 & 2 and this is our final one. I plan on having DH do FR 7-10 days before, DTD o-3, o-2, o-1 and on O day. I bought Vitex and will take it with next AF-O, already taking folic and baby aspirin, my DH will also start LR with my next AF. I bought Rephresh, never used it, so I am sure will be asking a lot of questions the days before my attempt. I will also take Zyrtec or something the days before too.

Well I checked it right before O this last time, and often times the ph stick wouldn't change...don't know what that means, and then I did get one that looked like it fell between the 4-5 range. How about you?
hi all, i havent even started checking as wantd to get the diet under way first..what do you mean by dtd o-3 o-2 o-1 and o... i thought the best chances were o+12hrs?? i get soo confused..i may try the baby asprin now as you all seem to be trying that, i havent cut all meat out entirely of my diet but i have cut down, im already loosing weight so im guessing this is good? right girls lets pray for our daughters good luck everyone xxxxxxx:bowdown:

According to Atomic timing does not matter, read her posts and some of the women who had successful girl sways. Many became pregnant with a girl on O day. On in-gender site, I was on this site in the very beginning, they seem to stress O+12, but after finding gender dreaming it seems like timing doesn't matter and diet is really the most important. I am really trying this route and hoping & praying! I LOVE breakfast, but no longer have breakfast just have coffee and then lunch at noon and dinner, but I squeeze a couple snack in between which am really trying to cut out once get closer to August.
hey girls, if your testing ph and strips dont change, could mean you have low ionic strength, or those particular strips arent efficient at testing vaginal secretions. I agree, timing seems to be least likely sway factor. I think that diet and supps and ph are most important. Although i do wonder sometimes if we really have a choice at all lol. Skipping breakfast is a constant struggle for me and this diet sucks! I just want steak and potatoes sooo bad lol. Hopefully get a bfp end of july, still got AF right now. Pink dust to us!
Heart Flowers, what does it mean to have low ionic strength?? Please tell me it's a good sign and sways pink :)
When I first bought them and was checking I could usually tell, but now all of a sudden not so much.
I agree, not a fan of the diet even if it is more generous than the IG diet. I just want cheeze-its!!! And they were buy one get one at my supermarket today :(
low ionic strength just means those test strips arent sensitive enough for you, may have to try another brand. when you look, tell them its for vaginal cm, they should know which ones to get for you. the temptation is the worst eh!
Hey girls! I plan on TTC my girl in August. I have two boys ages 5 & 2. This will also be our last baby. Seems like a few of us have boys the same ages! I am doing LE diet, saw palmetto, vitex, baby aspirin, fiber, & folic acid. I've been on the diet for about 4 wks. Skipping breakfast gets much easier! I drink lots of carbonation in the morning & my stomach thinks I'm full. I will start SP & vitex when my June AF gets here any day. I've had to wait for them to be delivered. I bought a Hanna digital pH test & I tried it once & can't tell if I did it right. Anyone know best way to do the Hanna digital test? I know I'm supposed to wait until close to ovulation because that's the only pH that matters. Pink dust to us all!!!

AF just arrived for me 2 days early, so really trying to track everything. I started Vitex and Saw Palmetto today. Because of starting AF early it seems to mess up the moons for me :( In August I was right at the New moon, but now it seems I'll be at the end of full moon when I try, hopefully that doesn't really sway!
How has your diet been? Best wishes!!
you could use ions to fix the full moon issue, negative ions help that. diet has been good, getting better at skipping breakfast, cheated only a few times. hows ur diet going?

My diet has been pretty good! I am still skipping breakfast, on 4th of July I just had a sweet potato and squash/zucchini medley and a sip of a margarita! So proud of myself!! Then dinner I made a a half quesadilla with a little cheese and mushrooms! Today, lunch was yogurt parfait and dinner same quesadilla, but I also had some meringues ;-) I've only been drinking Perrier water, diet sprite or diet snapple and of course a coffee in the morning.

I am trying this month, in fact hubby is struggling with abstaining at the moment, waiting till sunday which will give me a 48 hour cut off and he has abstained for 14 days, poor bloke. I am on vitex, chitosan, saw plametto, fiber, aspirin, antihistimaine. Hubby is taking prebiotic, cranberry and liquorice root. I have been on the diet for 2 months now and feeling quite weak to be honest, but that is really my fault not the diet. I think I have become to obssessed with eating wrongly I am missing out on food. Good luck everyone and God bless all our baby's x
Hi all how are we all doing,think af may be early this month as I am super moody today,sooner it comes sooner I can get my 1st try in.i did say I would not check ph but I have done and it seems to be between 4-5,happy with that.anyway keep up the good work we need some bfp's.
hopefully ill be making my attempt in the next few days, still waiting and checking opk for O. Anyone else doing to do an attempt soon?

Maybe atomic has an answer for the cycle length question... I have shorter cycles (25-ish days) and a short LP (progesterone issues), and I've conceived two boys and a girl, so I really don't know if cycle length has an impact statistically or not. Glad AF showed today, ynwa!
Shell, did you take progesterone prior to conceiving your little girl? And if so, did you take it prior to conceiving the boys, too? Just curious.

BeadinMom, I had to start progesterone after O with my daughter (2nd pregnancy), and then immediately after BFP with our last baby (a son, who was a big surprise). I didn't take it at all with my first (a son), but he was the only "normal" pregnancy I've had. After my first, I've generally had low progesterone and a short LP so when we're trying, I take it from confirmed O until AF. So, with the last boy, I didn't start it until after I knew I was pregnant. With my girl, I started it immediately after O. I'm a bleeder (all through pregnancy) and always have placenta issues, so it's always been a part of my pregnancies.

Good luck Hearts!! I had my final attempt last night. I hope someone (a little girlie someone) made it up to that egg. This is going to be the longest 2 weeks ever.
Shell, I had to take prometrium for 2 of my pregnancies, too. I didn't take it until after I conceived though. Right now I'm using natural progesterone cream until I either get my BFP or AF. If I get a BFP, i need to call my doctor right away so he can send me for labs to see if I need the prometrium again.

We BD'd at Pos OPK...and after FR, it was QUITE the ordeal. LOL.

phew ladies, O+12 attempt is done, now i sit in the 2ww lol, this is the longest 2 weeks, funny how we live our life in 2 week increments, either waiting or getting ready to try lol. Good luck to all who are trying soon! Hopefully we all get some BFP's soon! PINK DUST TO US!!!
Hi girls, I'm new to the boards, first month ttc a girl, lazy swayer! Doing well on diet, totally diff to my 2 boys. We're going to do frequent bd, every day through o. On cd10 now so we're in the middle of it! Only thing is I'm flying around o time so could be awkward. Very exciting reading all your attempts, I'll be keeping an eye and joining you all on the 2ww.
