Friday is the BIG day!!

Sorry I don't come on much, life is so chaotic and we are busy searching for places to look and enjoying the summer! Hope all of you are doing well! We are finding out baby's gender on Friday!! I am going to be 18 weeks and 1 day! :) I will keep you all updated on everything, dh thinks it's a girl as does 90% of my family and friends! Fingers are crossed! Here is a preggo photo, still not showing but excited for when I do! I will update you all when I get home Friday, our appointment is at 10:15 am!

Thanks everyone! I am super excited! I am content either way with the possibility of another son. :) Did anyone ever have intuition as to what your baby was? And were you ever right?

I knew DS2 was a boy the moment I peed on the stick :bigsmile:

I had a gut feeling that DD was indeed a DD, but I couldn't trust it or believe in it because I was so worried about gender desire shading my supposedly gut feeling.

So I do believe in some "intution".

So I am exhausted, couldn't fall asleep until 11:30 and my son decided he was going to wake mommy up at 6:45 this morning. Got to sleep once I did, sweet! k so i need help, 1 the tech stunk :/ she had her boss take photos because baby wouldn't budge. they "think" it is what it is, but i am not sure, maybe it's me not wanting to see it, but judging by what the tech said with the i want to say it may be, it didn't seem 100% to me. So I go back in 3 weeks. So you tell me, does this look like a umbilican penis? LOL. The angle doesn't add up and at one point baby did have the cord between legs. :/

Gosh, its really hard to tell! I would say its not a glaring, obvious, no doubt about it boy.....and I have heard of some women who were told "likely boy" before 20 weeks and then found out it was a girl, but not the other way around. Either way I wish you a very healthy and happy pregnancy and delivery!

ttcadaughter, what a shame you are left in limbo for another few weeks. I'm not sure either way, but will keep an eye out for your update and hope your keeping well, not too upset that you didn't find out? With the twins, they said maybe girls, couldn't be 100% sure, I had to wait 2 wks, that was tough. All the best. x

thanks guys! not upset very frustrated, talked to my dr and she as well wants a repeat ultrasound. she said the photos the tech took of everything were unclear and horrible. and as for the gender she doesn't want to confirm boy sees how it may be the goods but wants to double check because the tech said the cord was in the way about 95% of the ultrasound. upon looking at it its hard to see but there isn't a penis its a round blob and i know balls dont descend until last trimester, so we are going to make sure. i am assuming boy until told otherwise and am just as excited just that he is healthy :) i will keep everyone updated!

You can easily see scrotum in the 2nd trimester. It does look like a boy to me but hopefully we're all wrong!! :)
