I asked this q on the end of another thread, but then I remembered that we're supposed to start new threads for extra questions.. Hehe
Anyway.. My cycle has gone from longer and irregular (32-39 days) to shorter and slightly more regular (26-28 days) with only taking vitex from CD1-13. This month I ovulated between cd11/12, despite still taking vitex on those days.
My question is, if the vitex is changing my cycle this much already, is that a good indicator of it swaying pink for me?
Vitex changed my cycle right away, I'd have to go back through my first journey with it, but.. I remember that my + OPK moved up many days sooner than what it had been for months prior to that.
It's just different for everyone. I only took it both times (both pregnancies) for 2 weeks and it was very effective for me, even after my loss.
It has changed my cycles too by making them shorter. when I conceived my boys my cycles were 30-32 days long. now they are about 28-29 days long
Well I know you've got your lil girl now butterfly.. So do you reckon it sways pink when it changes things so much? And if you go off it, how quickly do your cycles change back?
Yes, I believe the changes occured from the supplements (also the ones DH took), ions, and lubes are what made my system "girl friendly". I didn't have a chance to go off of it so I can't answer your Q. :)Quote:

My crystal ball has a flat tire unfortunately limiting my ability to predict the future with reliability ;) but I do personally believe both based on a couple of studies and also the experiences of people on this site and IG, that changes in cycle both shorter and longer do seem to either sway pink in and of themselves or be indicative of changes in hormones that are swaying. The only exception is people with PCOS who have long cycles and seem to have more boys regardless.
That is super good info, thanks for sharing! Since most people start everything all at the same time it's good to hear from people who have noticed changes just from one sway tactic in isolation.Quote:

Take it for a while and see.. It may shake them up for a month or two, but for me, as you've seen above, vitex has shortened my cycle by a week or more. :)
... And only take it from AF-CD13 so that with any luck you'll O day 14!
As a general rule, peopel who have long cycles have had their cycles get shorter on vitex.Quote:
