Early Fetal Movement
For those of you who have been pregnant with both a boy and a girl before did you notice that you felt the first movement earlier with a boy and later with the girl? Were the kicks not as strong once they progressed with girl as they were with the boy?? I am curious because my last pregnancy I felt movement at 14 weeks. I still haven't felt anything with this babe. Granted the baby was running smaller and they dated me a week later so that could be why...

No difference here either.

Did you ladies feel a difference in the side the baby was on with boy versus girl?
I am just wondering b/c with my past pregnancies I always felt baby on my right side....throughout entire pregnancy and this time, all my movement (not very much, but little flutters a few times a day) are on my left side.
Sigh....obsessing about everything...

DD2 and DD3 were on the left only. DD1 I don't remember  So it looks promising :FX:

I felt movement earlier with the boy I am carrying now, I think around 14 weeks and he definitely is more active then the girls were. With both of my girls I didn't feel movement until around 18 weeks.

I thought I felt a little something on my left too one day.

I want to feel something on my left...waaah!!!! I'm cyber sulking again...lol.
-
LOL!!! 3M&AL!!
Rosie - sorry to hijack your post!

I only remember DD2 and DS2. DD2 I felt a lot of movement on the left. With DS2 I felt movement in the middle at first, and after he was bigger, he moved to my left side and stayed there, right up until I was in labor. So I wouldn't worry so much about the side thing.
As far as when I felt them, I think it was earlier with each pregnancy because I knew what I was feeling. And I don't remember a difference between genders as far as movement goes. All my babies were pretty active.

Sorry Rosie. And thanks Hobber. I've changed my mind and just want to feel movement...and have everyone guess girl at my nt nub shots, and have my tech confirm it at my gender scan. That's all!!! Easy enough, right???? I'm going to have to apologize again to you Rosie!!

I don't care at all if someone hijacks my post! haha

I felt movement earliest with DS2, but that was due to his placenta, not his gender. She kicked me hard too here and there, but DS2 was by far the most painful and strong kicker in the womb. DS1 and DD were very similiar in there. Though I did feel DD on the left more than right, and higher rather than lower.

Nope - I remember feeling both DS2 and DD on my left and I thought that meant another boy this time!

Also this baby is by far the hardest kicker. I swear she's going to make me pee myself!! She's a lot lower too.
