If my Husband will NOT do anything to sway (other than BD part of course :rofl:) like supplements&diet. Will i still have a good chance of having a girl? He is a big meat eater. Like a lot of times for dinner He would eat just meat and skip rice or veggies. He eats no fruit, no dairy. He will not drink coffee or soda. Only His Bud Light and water LOL. I guess His PH is high. I am gonna give it my all but hope by Him not doing anything i stand a great chance still.
My DH had no IDEA that i was swaying and I am having a girl.. The only thing I woudl suggest is try to limit the beef and pork and cook with chicken and fish instead :) My sway is post in the Girls Sways and everythign that I did my DH had NO IDEA !!!!!

nope, my husband didn't do a thing to help and also did not know "we" were swaying. he barely knew that "we" were TTC.
he did start smoking a pipe but it was only a couple times a week.
What about cigar smoking? Does that help reduce fertility? My DH loves an occasional cigar, but I HATE them so always discouraged it. But, if it can help with swaying, I say puff away! LOL!
This was me too...he had no idea. I did talk him into taking vitamins b and d, krill oil, and FA, but never told him why. We were swaying boy. GL!Quote:

and yes, I was a successful girl swayer and my DH wouldn't let me touch anything about his food; he still ate his meat, though we did both cut back on red meat. GL! I think the less the DH knows, the better, because when I tried to tell him about swaying in the beginning, he thought it was nuts and kept asking me if I was eating/doing what I was doing for my sway (kind of with an attitude) so I just stopped talking about it and did my things and by the time our cycle that got me pregnant came around he wasn't asking me and I wasn't telling...don't ask, don't tell..rofl.
My husband and father in law are both smokers and we and him have two boys and no girls. I am swaying for a girl now but obviously smoking had no effect on my hubby or his fathers sperm count!
I have my Dh eating organic spinach He thinks it's lettuce been using it for salad& sandwiches :bigsmile: LOL. But He is a smoker i wish it swayed girl for us but no so far boys but i hope it finally will LOL.

My dh didn't know I was swaying. But I started making him a cup of peppermint tea when I had one in the evening, and he also ate mass quantities of Yoplait Light yogurt because he found out he really liked them. So maybe that'll help!
My DH didn't want to do anything to sway...now that we are expecting baby #3 in June he keeps saying he hopes it's a girl (we have two boys) and I'm like, "Idiot--you could have helped make that happen!!!"
As it is, DH and I both smoked pot once a week for two months before TTC (not to sway or anything, just some fun with our neighbors). Ever since I found out I was pregnant, my neighbor (the one we smoked with) is convinced it's a girl because her and her husband both have girls and she's sure it sways girl. I would never encourage anyone to use drugs to sway, but I'll be interested in seeing if it makes a difference...
My DH stopped when we were TTC, but interestingly he and a previous partner have a child and at the time they were both smoking weed, drinking and generally being very unhealthy, and yes, they had a girl. (Doesn't help with my longing :broken:)
Your story here sounds a lot like mine. My DP smokes and wouldn't quit for our sway, i did quit though and i think that was important. I guess we are lucky that on the HE diet there are a lot of man friendly foods which they dont hesitate eating, there is no way i would have been able to get my man on LE.Quote:

Had I known he would be such a dick about the whole thing and pull this crap each month, I would never have mentioned it to him!...I would keep the whole thing a secret.
I really dont know what to think right now..I am in such shock that he did this to me......I really thought this was the month for me. we arent talking to each other and ovulation is passing...even if i made up and dtd, i ruined my pink sway, b/c my T levels are through the roof right now. I hate him so much!. i even threw awy the pack of cigarettes that I had convinced him to buy:)..geez, ladies im so sad right now:(
Please don't try to pressure your husband too much, that's always what happens it seems like.
I know it seems wrong to try and "trick" him into it but a lot of guys seem to respond best that way anyway. It's like it activates some teenage rebellion thing in them when we tell them too much about what to do and how to do it.

Hi! My dh is not aboard at all... what do I do? Dont mention it, and I'm not planning on telling him when I O!! Oh no way...! I will tell him what he wants to hear, put him in the mood, and let it flow... to much mechanic doesn't work with guys, not with mine at least!
Don't mention anything about swaying with him! do it yourself! :)

wishing4-I'm so sorry your hubby is being a butt. This may not be your month to try, once he calms down next month could be better (probably not what you want to hear). When I was swaying a back in July/Aug and concieved our girl (i m/c) DH didn't know anything. I didn't have him take any supplements, or change his diet (he's a big meat eater). I Changed my diet, added the vag gels and a few other things. That worked.
THis time around I have told DH about the swaying and he's okay with the idea. I still don't have him taking any supps or even changing his diet. The only thing I'm adding in for him is a beer a day starting a week before O.
My dh has 2 girls from a previous relationship. They did a lot of recreational drugs and drinking heavily(there must be something to that). When dh and I got together I got him off a lot of that stuff. He rarely drinks now, in a typical year he'll have maybe 4 or 5 beers. More recently he's been having a single more often. He'll drink with our mechanic, or have one with his boss. When we concived back our girl a few months back my hubby was spending time with our mechanic working on our viechels. I think that beer helped sway.
I say don't tell DH if he's gonna hold it againt you. Hide the OPK's in your underware drawer and only use them when Dh is away or you know is preoccupied for atleast 5 mins. Change your diet and do your part. YOu can turn the sexy on for him when its your O time and when not so he doesn't get suspicious you're TTC. big ((HUGS)) hoping your day gets better.

Yay i am happy and shocked my Husband drink Cranberry juice for the 1st time today. He NEVER drink juice period since we been together that's in over 9 years! I wonder is He checking my Goggle search while i am away and seeing i have been looking up ttc girl info :rofl: Oh i did tell Him that's good Hun drink at least 1 cup a day to clear your body out from drinking beer, hey sneak it in right:bigsmile:. Oh and tonight we had pasta i got the kind with calcium in it he really liked it lol.
I think the beer is better for pink than the cran LOL!!! :)
Thanks atomic but beer is all he does drink(besides water) even when we conceived our youngest 3 sons (had my older 3 sons from past relationship) But maybe i myself should drink a drink or 2 when i start my sway LOL.
Beer is one of those things where when you're younger, sometimes you can shake off the effects but the older he gets, the more it will sway pink for you. DON'T have him cut back and switch to cran juice, that's going to sway blue because it's healthier for him.
