I'm a bit confused on this issue, is it frequent release or abstain for TTC a boy? We're hoping to try next month so want to be a bit clearer on this matter.

It's neither, those are both pink sway tactics.
Have DH release every 2-4 days for as long in advance before your sway as is feasible. This produces max. numbers of nice healthy sperm.
Every 2nd or 3rd day - DTD normally letting DH release inside you, then when you get your +opk go for gold, try for 3 times in your fertile window.

Yes...you CAN get pregnant like that :) The schedule isn't about timing for conception, but having LOTS of swimmers in there to meet the egg. He doesn't need to wear a condom. Be careful with his frequent release, though, you could be headed into girl territory.

Think of it this way - You regularly put sperm inside your uterus and felopian tubes so there is always sperm just waiting for the egg to pop out, you get your + opk and put a ton more sperm in there so there is a maximum amount when the egg is released and that is what we rely on to sway boy.Quote:

How did you ladies do your attempts ? What's the jump and dump thingy lol
afy you only fall pregnant after you ovulate, so the main aim is to get as much sperm in waiting for that to happen, and the best way is to DTD every 2-3 days then 3 times at O.
And jump and dump is a girl sway thing where they sit on the toilet after DTD to let most of the sperm come out, you dont need to worry about that.
Thank you sooo mch! I wasn't sure as to whethere we can or can't fall pregnant.. But I totally understand now! So it's safe for the time being to let him use condoms
Yep for now while you are not ttc you can use condoms :)
