***UPDATE!*** suregena's 12 week, 4 day nub photos.

I've been always wanting to post a picture on here and now I finally get to!

The sonographer said she was going 'off the record' and said she wanted to say girl but it's not definite at all as baby was wiggling and active all over the place, but she did try to look (not typical for an NHS scan! But I work in Radiology at the hospital so she knew me and knows about nubs so had a look, without me asking!)

Can anyone see a nub? I feel like I can in one or two but I'm really terrible at nub pictures. I thought I saw something on screen that looked flat but who knows what I was looking at!

I have a question: if anyone had a sonographer say they wanted to say it was one sex or another but obviously didn't stay firm on that answer - what did they say and what did you end up having confirmed?

Onwards to pictures... I know most of them will not be showing the nub but one or two *might*...



(I was measuring 13 weeks, 2 days and I am 12 weeks, 4 days.)

The second to last photo is the one I think I see a nub on, but I'm sorry the image uploaded rather small on here! I have a large version of the image if anyone needs to see it bigger...

Awww what fab pics! I'm rubbish with nub shots but can't see anything boyish down there! Fingers firmly crossed this is your little girl. :D x

Suregena your baby is gorgeous! The second picture screams girl nub to me. I usually only comment if they jump out one way or the other to me. How exciting. Enjoy your pregnancy. I had my baby girl 2 days ago. Still pinching myself.

I think its a little princess too!! Looks like my babies nub and e/o has guessed girl, so hope we both get our baby girls x

That's where I see the nub too, woman and it is FLAT like you said! :)
So if you are measuring 13 wk 2 days doesn't that mean your calculations are off? Further along past 12 weeks is better!
Remember, I found out at 14 wk 4 days and saw the flat nub! When can you go back in again?

I tried to explain (by showing him a website, too) but he didn't get it... thought they both looked the same (boy/girl nubs.) However, he said he was getting "girl vibes" and it just looked more like a girl to him. So, we will see.

No I've never really posted there. I don't think I even managed to get an account because it kept crashing, which is why I inevitably ended up here (and thankfully I did, though!)

I agree with the others - I see a nub in two of the pictures, and they look very girly to me! Long, forked, and flat. I hope this is your girl!! ;)

I know! And obsessing I am... indeed. I already sent my mom a link about nub theory and drew lines and pointed to the nub to show her. Oh, dear. I need to be slapped... it's not healthy to get so fixated on girl potential when it could still be a boy.

Has anyone ever had a sonographer say this early they want to think it's a certain gender and then them turn out to be wrong?

Does anyone want to post it on in-gender for me? I realized why I never began posting there ages ago... because I got an account but it does NOT allow me to post! I just tried. :(
