Thanks for your replies, I am actually having twins but this was the shot that had me the most confused, I was hoping for at least one girl but it sounds like I may be getting two boys instead. Thank you guys again for replying to me!

I would ~guess~ twin boy BUT i'm really not keen on potty shots at this gestation and haven't seen too many, also fraternal twin boys are statistically less common than boy/girl or girl/girl. Hopefully some of the more experienced girls will chime in, until then i wouldn't give up hope of a dd just yet.
Thanks so much Mrs. P! I did not realize that on the statistics! The doctor is unsure of what mine are,fraternal or not, they appear to be in the same sak but they for sure have a thin membrane seperating them, they also "appear" to share the placenta. So he said it could go either way, but he is leaning identical. Thanks again for your input and I will 100% let you guys know when I find out next Thursday 9am! I will still have some hope :-)
No problem - i think its too do with swollen girl parts that potty shots can be unreliable unless you know what your looking for. Keep an eye out for lovemyfour if she guesses - i have rarely seen her get one wrong.
In the meantime, there are a few girls on here with twins if you want to check out some of the shots for comparison - sweetpea has posted a couple of her beautiful babes on here (they are confirmed boy / girl twins) x

I think they look like boy/boy twins to me, but I just wanted to say that if your doctor thinks they may be identical, AND if they end up being boys, then do you know that's super rare? Boy/boy identical twins are supposed to be the least common of any kind of twin type, so that seems so very special to me. :awe: I know you were hoping for a girl, but if they do end up being identical twins boys, I think that's a super sweet and special thing. Thanks so much everyone for your guesses!! Sweetpea, I actually did not know this till today when Mrs. P and you told me! That does make it very special!! Thanks for your message as well! I have my next one January 3rd at 9am, it's my 16 week scan so I am sure I will know then! I start seeing my specialist in three weeks as well with the long 45 minute ultrasound. Thanks for all your kind words and I will let you know next week!

It's early for potty shots but they do look quite boyish. I'd also assume they are identical if they are sharing one placenta. Congrats!
Thanks Lovemy4, I just realized my title is "found" and not "find", I have been doing some very silly things lately. Sorry for the bad typing! I agree from everything I have read it is early, I was clueless when I was at my appointment. I go every two weeks since my doctor considers me high risk so that was last Monday, I was 13 weeks 4 days I believe and they each were 4 inches in length and weighed 3 ounces. He said they were extremely close in size which was good to hear. I will let everyone know when I find out in a week at my 16 week appointment! I appreciate all your guesses and congrats!! : )
Sweettea, I am in a similar boat, it looks like I am also having boy/boy twins though mine appear to have sep sacs and sep placentas. I think your twin B def looks like a boy (just like my first 3 boys at 13 week potty shots), the other likely boy.
I'd like to keep in touch as we must be very close in due dates. I was 14 weeks on Christmas Day.

Thanks so much for the comment, I would love to keep in touch. My due date is June 20th, last time I was at my apppointment he said June 17th. Here is my first ultrasound picture if you would like to see and compare to yours for fun. In this picture you can't see the membrane seperating them but at my last appointment it was for sure there, just very thin, they were pressing up against it. I'm due 25th June officially but as it's twins who knows when they will come.

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to let you guys know that I went this morning for my 16 week ultrasound and the ultrasound tech had called in sick : ( my doctor went ahead and did the ultrasound however he did not want to make a guess and was basically just looking for the heartbeats. I did get a couple photos but I doubt they will do you guys any good on guessing but I will post them for fun anyways. I go back in a week for an ultrasound with the tech!

Looks just like my son's pictures, and I was so hoping for a girl I tried to find anything that told me otherwise. Well, he is definitely a boy! Congrats on your twin boys!

I wanted to show off my twins profile shots that I just got last week, the other I posted is not near as good as these. I go this week again, but these are just too cute I thought!. She said that they are very "meaty" twins. I think that is a good thing : ) Thanks for all your guesses!

I had my big anatomy scan today and it looks like they are both boys like you guys thought! My specialist feels pretty confident they are identical as she can not see where the placenta was ever two that merged. They are each 8 ounces and measuring right where they should be. Very good news today and since they share a placenta they will be keeping a close eye on them. Thanks to you all for your guesses, made the wait more fun!
