But I think my folic acid is causing me to have the runs. (I can't spell Diarreah whatever) anyways I dont' go for like three days or so and then I have it bad and then I get it like three days later with horrible gas cramping...is this possibly the FA? Should I drop down to 800 because right now I am taking two 800's a day...should I cut the pills? I am trying to keep my sway VERY basic with mostly just the diet but I know this is a MUST and don't want to mess around. Thank you all!

You're doing a boy sway? 400 mcg is the usual advice, but atomic advices boy swayers to use 800 mcg. I have been taking 500 mg (not mcg) for my last two pregnancies due to a neural tube defect with my daughter. I never had any problems with it so don't know if the FA is causing the runs. I think it's more likely your diet?
I wouldnt sudpect FA doing that to you. It may be your diet are you getting enough fibre? High protein can cause the bloating and gas.

that can actually be one of the side effects of folic acid. Yes I'd go down to 800.
Thank you all for your advice. I am going to go down to 800 I can't keep this up I hope the 800 doesn't make me too sick...I might even cut the pills and do 400 twice because this has been brutal!!! Thank you!!!
You should be dividing the doses anyway...
Folic Acid is water soluble and is flushed from your system, so you want to take it throughout the day, vs taking one dose that will get dumped from your body.
