Im so confused and losing hope now!

Im nubsessing over and over every day, looking at nubs.. and I came across on IG a pic which totally looks like my babys nub at same gestation. 100% girl guesses too and that bub turn out to be a boy!! I was so giving up my hopes, but now I really dont know what to think!! I know we cant go 100% with nubs, but now I just really feeling down :( Im so scared I will hear boy on my next scan. Sorry for being so negative.. I never thought I will have such GD :( xx

Oh hun I have been there so I totally understand. It drives you insane all the comparing of nubs, I did it daily!! I bet you have seen more that are girls that look like yours then this one but we all focus on the one different one, I know I did anyway.

Try and stay away from the sites (yeah right lol) for your own sanity. I wasted many many hours staring at nubs and it wasnt going to change the end result of mine but I couldnt help it.. FWIW it still looks girly to me, maybe the other one was taken earlier than yours??

Thanks hun, Its good to know im not the only one driving myself insane lol I had a look around in confirmed girl pics too and yes there are plenty looks like mine :) BUT I can only concentrate on girly looking boys!! I feel im going crazy here :( Every day the end of the day im saying i stop this nubsessing and wont visit the sites until my next scan when I get confirmation. But just cant help it, here I am again early morning feeling stupid and really down :( Is it worth it... Deffinetly NOT!! But just cant help it!! :(

ah i have been wondering whether to get a nub shot or whether to just hold out untill 20 weeks when it's all a bit clearer, here you can get a private scan at 16 weeks for about £80 which will tell you.....am considering that!

I wish I didnt get a nub shot!!! It can really drives you insane! The thing is I didnt even ask for it lol that was the 1st pic the tech printed out! Yea I think its the best to go for private scan at 16 weeks! Much more accurate then going nuts with this nubsessing lol Unfortunately here no one do gender scan before 19 weeks!! :(

The second baby looks to be doing a situp while arching it's back at the same time. If you look at how close the chin is to the chest. I would have guessed girl for it though. The babies' positions are slightly different. Try not to worry. Yours really does look like a girl.

Yours looks girly to me too ;p They are not 100% but I would totally love a nub that looks like yours without doubt!

Does anyone know the accuracy/success rate with these tests? Can they really tell the gender as early as 6 weeks????

Nubs aren't 100%, especially before 12 weeks, but I think the odds are good that you will hear pink.

I think there may be reviews on it on in-gender.com forums. I'm thinking that it is pretty 50/50 from tests like these though.

Thanks everyone for the kind words!!! It did made me feel better a bit :) I try not to think and worry about it too much!! My DH thinks Im going crazy and overreacting the whole thing.. but as this is our last pregnancy my last chance to have a daughter! He dont understand it coz he dont mind at all I wish I can think like him!

About that GenderMaker test ~ I think that is just for FUN! I hear lots of inaccurate storys with it so it is really 50/50. I dont think there is any science in it it is just like the baking soda and etc tests lol

Hey Andreaa, i am exactly the same. i didnt know about the nub theory til id had my 12wk scan with this one my 4th. i wish i didnt know either!!! every day in the morning ,and all evening once my boys are in bed im looking through hundreds of nub pics comparing mine, hoping for a slight chance this one could be pink. but do u know what, hearing the vast majority on here say its a boy its help me get over that fact before ive even had my 20 wk scan. id never hear of gender disappointment until seeing a thread on here and after that intial first hearing boy from everyone, i did have a cry thinking that was my last chance of having a girl out the window as this really will be my last baby. but now i think how lucky i am to be blessed with 3 poss 4 beautiful boys and when i think how much i really love them, another boy is no issue at all. i know that doesnt make how you feel any less, but what will be will be, ur babies been made the way he or she has and once its here, ull forget how uve felt now xx hope that your ok, i know exactly how ur feeling. ur not alone hun xxx

I am completely the same as you hon and my nub is not even as convincing as yours!!! My husband thinks I have lost the plot entirely and I still feel none the wiser!!!

Going to have to wait until 20 weeks to find out so the wait is going to kill me!!!

We can nubsess together if you like!!! X

I'm absolutely the same that boy pic has certainly thrown a spanner in the works now :-(
