Is anyone taking B6&B12? I want to know how much to take and how long to take them. This will be my 1st time taking them.
Does anyone know? thanks
I'm taking B12 for a boy sway. I was told it sways boy!
I just started taking them. Did lots of reading and most people take the B complex 50mg (it has 50mg of each B vitamin) as apparently it's best to take all B's together for them to work correctly. I *was* swaying girl - now I don't care and want to get my cycle regular so I've started this the last few days. I'm interested to see how it works!
I believe the B vitamins sway blue, so unless you NEED them for a short LP, I would not take them.
Your body stores years of B12 and there are ample amounts of B vitamins on LE Diet.
Also, thanks for your patience, I'm back at home now finally so I hope to get caught back up in a couple of days
yes, I should add my LP was 9 days this past cycle (not sure if my weight loss messed it up or what but I want it back on track as I need a BFP asap) so that's why I'm taking them to hopefully lengthen my LP (I'm no longer swaying...)
Thanks ladies! Atomic i have a very short LP due to breastfeeding. i've been taking Vitex for almost 5 months and it has help to make my LP 13-14 days but i wonder will it actually work to help me conceive. Could i take B6 with the Vitex or just take the Vitex? And thanks princessofpink the B12 is going back to Walmart ASAP! LOL.
If you don't have l.p. shorter than 10 days, do not take b6. I think it sways blue.
I was taking vitamin b when I was swaying (boy) but because my lutealphase was really short. I stopped taking them a few months before got pregnant, but it doesnt matter , does it? I mean like you said atomic, it stays in the body for a long while? Was is still useful for my sway? (sorry for asking in your thread 6blue) I just got curious because I feel like I totally ruined my sway in the end.
See the thing Atomic since i am breastfeeding my LP is short. But Vitex is helping. So is it ok to keep taking the Vitex? I took the B12 back now back to take the B6 LOL.
Right, I understand that, but then you said your LP was 13 days long, and that is fine.
Even if your LP is 11 days, you can still get pg. I would not take the B vites unless it's 10 days or less and you have tried cutting back on feedings first.
I got my DS 4 taking high dose Vit. B6 and some B12 after having been told to on IG and I have seen several opposties among pink swayers with the B vitamins involved.
Thanks Atomic the only reason it is 13-14 days long is because of the Vitex. Do i keep taking it instead of the B6?
Atomic i am so mad today! I didn't come out and ask my OBGYN today for Clomid but i told Him i am taking vitex. He say's he knows nothing about Vitex. So i told him by me taking that it helps to make my LP longer but if i do not take it's way shorter. He said oh no i need at least a 2wk LP. But He didn't come out and offer me anything
:( i kind of wanted Clomid. He could care less really he does not want me having anymore kids since this will be csection #4. He did ask was i taking a prenatal&folic acid. I told him folic acid. He said good just keep doing what i am doing since my periods are regular. So i am gonna start back taking vitex next cycle since i ran out. I am noticing O time is coming way sooner&almost + OPK on CD13 usually + OPK CD 17-19) this month since dropping Vitex. is that normal? Can I use progesterone cream? I really think i may need it after O.
Yes, we have had that issue again and again with our ladies who have larger families. They have a very difficult time getting help with fertility issues because the doctors decide "well you've had enough".
That you are Oing earlier on Vitex is normal and it is what has happened for a lot of people with long cycles and short LP. :agree:
I would not have you do the prog cream. If you need prog support you need to get prescription strength from a doctor (and if your LP has gone to 13 days you don't need it). The OTC creams are designed for women going through menopause and it is not enough prog to sustain a pregnancy.
