2 days til ultrasound.. Any advice you can give me on nub?!?!?

Well as all of you know.. My nub got 100% boy votes and I thought that was a pretty good sign. But then I went in to doc and she did an ultrasound and legs were completely crossed with baby barely moving and she barely checked.. Whole ultrasound was like 30 seconds long... And threw in her 2 cents saying that baby was a girl cause she couldn't see any boy parts :( any advice or comments that could help me out :) I'm hoping she was wrong and boy bits were hiding

Thank you!!! I need to hear that and hope i do at ultrasound. I hope doc was going too fast and it was too dark to see boy parts

Thanks!! Sucks that I did hear different from what the doc said and the 160HR :/ I wish she wouldn't have even said it but now that she did I'm kinda preparing myself go here girl and really thinking it is so it won't be such a shock lol. Well wish me luck that it is a boy nub and we hear boy Wednesday!!!

Yes we did!! We tried everything we could naturally.. I mean its still 50/50 but still this nub is what I'm hoping is a boy for us. My doc said girl when legs were crossed and she said "no boy parts jump out at me so.. Girl" I was like " wow!!" She knew I wanted a boy too. Plus 160 for HR and I heard that's kinda high for a boy :/. What you think?

HR means but nothing. Both of my boys had HBs that started in the 190s and then jumped between 140-170. The thing that effects the HB the most is the age of the unborn baby. It in the earlier days its quite high and as the pregnancy goes on it lowers (but only to a certain extent). It doesn't signify pink or blue in any capacity and it's an OWT.

And that is crazy that your doctor would say "oh i dont see boy parts, it must be a girl!" First off, doctors need to stick to their profession. Even if they had one u/s class in college (which is even doubtful), they are not trained u/s techs and should not try to act as one. Secondly, you cannot determine the gender of a baby for a mere lack of parts with the other sex. You have to clearly identify a penis or clearly identify a labia. ....Im sorry your doctor put you through that hon. (((HUGS))). Im hopeful this is your little boy! There seems to be a good consensus here that your baby is a boy and hopefully your sway worked. Sounds like it may have :D :D :D

Thank you so much for your time on commenting. I go in for my ultrasound in a few hours so yay!!! I hope I get my boy but if not i will still be very happy with another girl! :) I will update when I know :) wish me luck!!!!

Congrats!! I really would have been shocked if you had heard girl with that nub shot. I think your first US tech didn't really take the time to do a good scan. Sometimes they can really be insensitive.
