UPDATE... I had a scan at 15 weeks 5 days and sno penis or balls in sight but legs were close together....

My guess is girl its very straight
My guess is girl, it looks pretty parallel to the spine, and long and flat!!! I hope I am right!!

I have to ask... is the straight bright line what you are looking at?? Is that the nub? That definately looks girly. But is that it? I got so confused over all those nub shots somehow.. please somebody enlighten me :happy:
Yep the bright white line just after the baby's belly and close to the potty area if that makes sense. I think you are looking at the right thing.Quote:

Me too! Cause I really did do the best I could... I'm sure many of you did harder sways but I did my best.... I will def still be happy with another ds but all my different symptoms with this preg and girly nub I'm feeling a little bit confident.... Though i hate to say it, i think i see a boy nub on the end of that bright line. I only say it because i feel sad to see someone get their hopes up (i have 3 times with very similar nub pics). REALLY REALLY hope im wrong x

I would say girl as it doesn't 'look' like my boys scans ;-0 hope it's pinky, mainly excited to see the first picture from septembers group yeahy!

I can see this going either way. If you want to look at my nub in the confirmed boy page it looks very similar. I still think it could be 50'50. Hope you get your desired gender. Best wishes!
It is similar to yours! It is forked at the end I don't know maybe it was the lighting when I Took a pic of the pic but yes I can see it going either way cause I see a lot of girly nubs that are boy.... Will the fact that baby measures 13 week make it more likly to b a girl cause would ing it be more angled at that point?
This pic is going to drive me crazy.... I just read the actual study that was posted http://www.fetalmedicine.com/fmf/1999_4.pdf and it says that at thirteen weeks a boy would be very angled and this nub pic I have is obviously not more angled than 30 degrees... It loos very parallel to me....and it has the typical fork on the end I need to try and get a better pic of it... Although I know boys can be forked to... It's just the angle and the gestation that makes me lean girl... I'm a realist and wishful thinking is not my thing and I know if I was guessing I would guess girl...... Sorry for the ramble lol
This is how I feel about mine! There are many instances in my video where the nub looks very straight and parallel with either a fork or bump at the end, but what I am really wondering is whether it should be more angled up if it was a boy, since my bub also measured 13 weeks on the day of the scan (4 days ahead actually).Quote:

Its tricky, firstly i thought boy because i thought it was a stacked nub, but if you say it is forked rather then i'd have to say its girly. Some of my boy nub shots looked like a straight white line but it was angled up more than yours.

Yes I've been looking through pics like that all week... One thing I do know is that I'm having a baby lol it will be a long wait to know
I would have to guess boy because of the end bit which looks like it's pointed up. Hope I'm wrong.

I think I read you were surprised that the fetus measured 13 weeks. What gestation did you think you were?
Congratulations on a healthy baby, either way.
It is measuring a whole week a head... I thought that was quite a bit... Thanks for all the guesses :) guess I won't be putting to much thought towards the nub lol

I am 50/50 at first glance it looks girly then that little bit on the top makes me think the whole nub isn't showing!

Also thought that it is worth mentioning that babe is squished in at the bottom so it is harder to get a sense of the angle. Maybe the nub is even flatter than we think if the bum is curled up :)
oooohhhh I hope it's your girl! I'm torn, the nub is very straight and flat which makes me think girl, but when looking at the spine it looks like the nub might be on an angle so that leads me to think boy.. Either way, congrats on having a healthy babe in there!!
I'm really happy with any baby in the end so I'm not gonna be heartbroken in any way with a boy... To be honest me wanting a girl is only the past 4 years I always wanted to be a all boy mom....
I guess it's a tricky one so we will have to wait and see...
