So we decided to make it a surprise with the gender and we told the ultrasound tech we didn't want to know. But in our scan pics, she gives us a pretty clear potty shot. At first I thought a boy but now I'm super confused as it doesn't look like any of my other boys ultrasound pics. We still do not want to know and we wont know for sure anyway but can anyone take a guess? Its just fun to try and figure out this mystery :)

I think that's a boy. And I think it's mean that the tech gave you a potty shot after you said you wanted the gender to be a surprise.
Thanks, yeah I thought so too. very strange to do that but I thought maybe it was just a clear shot of the legs so thats why she put it in. Thanks for your guess :)
I'm currently preggo with my third boy. I have 3 different potty shots for him and none of them look anything close to my other sons.

Does anybody have a potty shot with swollen girly bits?
I'm no expert but that does look a lot like one of my DS2's shots. I was confused because it didn't look at all like DS1's potty shot so I thought it might swollen girl parts but he is all boy! That being said, if you were clear that you didn't want to know the gender she may have put it in just to throw you off. Totally mean thing to do in my opinion!
boy, by 17 weeks usually swollen bits and "angles of dangles" don't make any difference, if there's something there it's generally a little dude, congrats!! :)

yeah I don't think it was very kind because now I am obsessing which I knew I would but now this potty shot has thrown everything. Husband is adamant on not knowing so I cant share my curiosities with him. It is interesting to here different opinions though. I cant seem to find an ultrasound that looks similar. boy or girl! :worry:
This is all purely for my curiosity and we wont be finding out for sure until baby arrives :)

That's totally fine if it is a boy :) I'm just not completely convinced its all boy. I definitely think it could go either way! Super exciting with the mystery anyway

It looks like a boy to me. See how the whole area looks like a turtle? Girls don't have that.

Haha yes that is my thoughts exactly. Its something there so you obviously would say boy but im not completely convinced. Its actually been great since it still seems to be a mystery in our eyes even though she did give us a clear potty shot. But of what??? :suprise:

Huh. That is a tough one, to be honest I'm not convinced it's a boy.
Thank you all so much for your guesses! Keep em coming! I think it really depends on each different baby whether they are swollen or not or angle of shot so I'm just not 100% convinced boy or girl?! Haha either way its a baby that measures good for dates so healthy and so far so good!
