So I slipped up and drank some diet coke. I've been so stressed and it's a coping mechanism for me. If I drink a ton of water will this help me flush it out of my system? I have about 1.5 weeks until my next attempt.

Can't hurt...but I honestly have no idea?? That used to be my biggest weakness, gave it up July last year and feel so good now that I don't drink it anymore. Read a research article yesterday that said just one diet coke a day (when you get a BFP) increases your risk of miscarriage by 50%.
:agree: Completely agree with this...IMO all artificial sweeteners are poison, I won't let my kids touch them.
Don't stress Kiki. What's done is done. Maybe just try drinking lots of water and relax. A diet coke won't ruin a whole sway.
If you're feeling stressed and swaying blue, maybe try a cup of green tea? That always helps me relax and is great for blue.

I agree, what's done is done, but certainly don't have any more! Drink iced tea instead, or a nice glass of pineapple juice.
It should be out of your system before your attempts.

Haha I know it's posion! I eat sooo healthy, exercise, don't drink or smoke but would chug diet coke all day if I could. I drank it 4 days in a row!! Oh well you're right, what's done is done. I will just try and drink a lot more water and hope it helps. Plus green tea. Thanks for the advice everyone.
I know theory says it sways girl but if it makes you feel any better a friend of mine just found out she is having her second boy..stick thin, no muscle tone, doesnt work out, husband works out of town so im sure they dont DTD a lot (he could help himself I suppose) but anyways I just cant understand how she makes boys! I figured diet was the only option so I asked what she eats of course and her response was, "just drink a lot of diet coke!" What?!?! :rolleyes:
I am (was) a diet coke addict too. Now if I really feel like having a pop, I drink regular coke. No idea if that is actually better or not though!
I'm sure you will be good to go when your attempt roles around.
I wouldn't worry to much! Dh and I are big diet coke, pepsi max drinkers and we have all boys!!
Dont worry about it too much... Yeh just drink plenty of water to flush it out. My MIL was a big coke a cola fan. She would have 1 bottle per day!!!!!! She has two boys.. Dont know how that happened lol.Quote:

I don't taste any difference between regular and decaf. If you want to work green tea into your sway (which I'd highly recommend for blue) maybe buy the decaf green tea, and if you have a tea out at a Starbucks or coffee shop or something like that just have the regular caffeinated tea?
I love Tazo's China Green Tips - one of my favorite drinks ever! It isn't decaf but that's what I like to order at Starbucks. Now that I'm done with swaying pink I'll be able to treat myself to a green tea once in a while.
