Atomic - do boy supplements delay ovulation? I think I'm late?

Hi!
I just started (for the first time ever) boy supplements:
Fish oil-1000mg
Flaxseed oil-1000mg
L-Arginine-1000mg
Those 3 since cycle day 1

EPO-1500mg - since cycle day 12

I am now on cycle day 17 and I usually get a +tive OPK from day 17-19. While I have creamy cm (sorry) no ewcm in sight.

Do the above supplements delay ovulation? Everyone raves about them and says they have a ton on ewcm but not for me yet. They also state that they stop taking them once they ovulate.

I think I've read somewhere in here that Atomic recommends stopping prior to ovulation so you don't delay O. How much beforehand? If you stop days prior to +tive OPK how are the supplements going to help? I hope I didn't mess up my cycle.

Any input or someone with experience is greatly appreciated! Thank you! :)

L-Arg and EPO can delay Ovulation

I took EPO and it delayed ovulation for me so I switched to fertile cm and that helped me but some ladies say it drys them up, that wasn't the case for me. You just have to find what works for you

Thank you for the input! Can L-Arginine or EPO dry you up? I usually have more ewcm by now so I'm wondering why it has the opposite effect? The same question for fertileCm...
Are those supplements even recommended on the HE boy sway?

both can definitely dry you up. Fertile CM has l-arginine in it so if you are drying up now I wouldn't take it. If you get your own EWCM and a good amount I would just stick with fish oil. Flaxseed oil can also dry you up. Fertile CM is a boy supplement which is why I took it, but I also used preseed and mucinex to get more EWCM

Are there other supplements (not just for cm) that you would recommend? Thanks for all of this! I am going to begin my sway any day and I just switched from IG to HE so I'm starting over. I think I'm going to also do the custom plan since I don't have anymore time to research. Again thanks! :)

I would definitely recommend a personalised sway plan

as far as supps go I took fish oil, folic acid, prenatal, vit d3, coq10, fertile cm, mucinex, royal jelly, b6(i think thats it) and I drank coconut water, v8, wheatgrass, green tea AF-O, lots of water. I mixed my wheatgrass with orange juice because it tastes AWFUL

Yes and I've been a little concerned about that from some of your other threads.

I'm going to recover some ground that I mentioned in other posts, in case anyone else stumbles onto this one sorry for repeating myself:

EPO, flaxseed, l-arg can all delay O. Green tea also can delay O if you are drinking it. I think it is best to start these supps CD 1 and stop them 1-2 days before you expect to ovulate, or when you get a positive OPK, whichever comes first. Do not restart them even if you don't ovulate right away, they will continue working for you even tho you aren't taking them.

You should pick EITHER EPO or flax, they do the same thing and you don't need both. You should start them CD 1 and not midcycle like that, they can delay O when begun midcycle.

You need to keep Omega 6 (flax and EPO) and Omega 3 (fish oil) in balanced proportion, you should take equal or less Omega 6 than Omega 3. At present you are taking 2 1/2 times more Omega 6 and this needs to be reduced below the dose of your Omega 6.

Flax, epo, and fish oil are all blood thinners and can cause serious side effects when taken at high doses. You are taking too much right now. Please reduce EPO/Flax to 500 and keep fish oil at 1000. If you notice continuing bruising, increased bleeding time, you will need to reduce these further. If you have any other weird symptoms such as vomiting stuff that looks like coffee grounds, black tarry stools, or terrible headaches, go to the emergency room immediately.

Re arginine: some people have reported that this dried up their CM. And it is proven to aggravate herpesvirus so if you are noticing increased cold sores or genital herpes (I'm sure you don't have that but jsut anyone who does) you need to drop the l-arg. Also it may cause shingles to flare up so if you've had the chicken pox and you suddenly have any unexplained severe pain/burning on your skin, get thee to a dr. immediately and have them check for shingles.

I have no wait right now on plans and could have one done for you right away.

I woudl also have you add in lemon water, it's very good for CM and doesn't delay ovulation.

Grapefruit juice! And lots of water! They always do the trick for me...

Thank you for the I info. It's crazy because even with the ridiculous amt of lemon water I've been drinking (not too much though) I have never had so little cm before so it's clear that L-Arg., flax, and EPO aren't great for me. Thankfully I haven't had any weird side effects from my supplement overdosing. Honestly, I didn't even realize I was over doing it. I haven't taken any of it for a few days so that's a plus. Hopefully next month will be better. On the plus side, I did get a +tive OPK today. Yay! I will be signing up for the custom service tomorrow to get this show on the "right road." :) thanks again!
