I just want to take a quick second and say we are so thankful for God blessing us with Atomic and this site! The personalized plan was a total God send and I believe that 100%! She was my coach and cheered me on and told me I could do it and not to stress about silly things and here we are at our 20 weeks scan looking at our little girl on the screen! There is something to be said for having a coach in your corner! I am a total control freak to say the very least and the stress really was gone when I got the plan! My DH and I are so grateful! Thank you GOD! Thank you Atomic! Thank you NBP as well! This site is wonderful and I have "met" some amazing women on this site! You are all truly inspiring!

Comments regarding DW's diet changes- I was on the LE diet for 14 weeks when I O'd. LE diet was a TOTAL change from my normal diet (I LOVE red meat, cheddar cheese, salt, high fat foods and breakfast). I ate No meat (chicken, red meat, or fish for 14 weeks). Ate 3 times a day for the first 10 weeks at 11:30am, 5:00pm and then had two glasses of wine at 9pm. Starting in the 11th week I only ate twice a day! I tracked my food with Myfitnesspal. I mainly ate white rice with salt free butter and 3/4 cup of corn. Meal 2-4ounces of gluten free pasta with 1/2 cup low sodium tomato sauce and 2 sandwich slices of 2% swiss cheese with a 90 calorie piece of white pita bread. Meal 3 was 1 cup of grapes, 12 triscuits with same 2 slices of swiss cheese melted over it along with a twinkie! I drank 1 tall skinny (nonfat sugar free) vanilla coffee from starbucks 3 times a week. I also drank at least 2 diet cokes or diet Dr. Peppers daily. Calories where between 1500-1800. Protein was 40-50grams and fat was 40-45grams. I lowered salt intake a great deal from my normal diet. IRL diet 3000+mg of salt on LE diet I took in less that 1600mg of salt daily. In the 14 weeks I was on the diet I had one cheat meal ever friday night which was 2 slices of cheese pizza or I had chips with salsa and queso. I tracked the calories, protein and fat with MFP so I could stay within the limits of the LE Diet during these cheats. I also ate breakfast for 2 days in a row for a vacation on March 3-4th. Just wanted to be honest about all cheats!

Comments regarding DH's diet- He is a HUGE meat eater! He stopped eating all meat, fish, and nuts. Started drinking Diet caffeine free coke and diet dr. pepper. He started eating soy for protein. 2 weeks before our attempt he drank 2 soy protein shakes with soy milk daily. One week before our attempt he ate no dairy or beans. All his protein for that last week came from soy.

WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O? Before LE Diet I weighed 129lbs (BMI 20.86)
After 14 weeks of LE I weighed 115lbs (BMI 18.6)
Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments? I was really loosing weight rapidly towards in last 3 weeks so I ate a twinkie or little debbie vanilla cake. It slowed the weight loss a little bit.

Any additional comments? On CD12 (2 days early) I got my 1st +OPK at 3:30pm. On CD13 I got another +OPK at 8:15am we DTD at 2:30pm that day. I am a little unsure if we actually DTD on O day or after O FWIW!

Any relevant attempt details? I used rephresh 14 hours before our 1 attempt. My DH and I took benadryl 2 hours before attempt. He also drank 1 vodka shot and had a martini 2 hours before our attempt. He took a hot bath and I took a hot shower right before we DTD.

DH-Claritin daily for allergies but a week before our attempt he switched to benadryl.
I took vitex for 2 months before our attempt. I only took vitex CD1-CD10.

Did you use any Old Wives Tales? We had our attempt in a girl friendly month-April!
Things that make me feel great about my sway: My DH and I completely changed our diets! We were both unknowingly doing a big boy making diet when we conceived the boys!
Lowest adult weight at 115lbs (lost 14lbs in 14 weeks)
Felt like my T levels where MUCH lower on this diet!
Drinking caffeine and diet drinks was a huge change for me. Drinking red wine every night for those 14 weeks. However, I didn't drink the day we DTD. Taking vitex. After O day I felt terrible with allergies and didn't eat much from 1-3DPO and lost an additional 3lbs. I kept to the LE diet until 8DPO! DH drinking soy protein shakes, taking LR, and antihistamines and wearing whitie tighties instead of his comfortable boxers! Thanks DH!
Things that make me nervous about my sway: We only had a 6 day abstain.
DH told me after our attempt that in addition to taking LR he also drank peppermint tea twice in the week before our attempt. He was trying so hard to help our chances of a daughter, sweet! I thought I should mention it FWIW!
Where my T levels low enough to conceive a little girl?
Things worth mentioning: I think the personalized plan was a huge help for me. I like to be told how and what to do and Atomic made the plan super easy to follow and she answered my questions super quickly! Thank you so much Atomic!
As I sit here and look at how much I have written in detail about this sway I am realizing how chill this diet had made me and now that I am back to eating what I want to IRL I am back to being super attentive to details! Hoping those T levels where indeed lower when we conceived this little one!
I would love to have a daughter and I know my DH would love one to. I am really blessed he was willing to do this sway with me. But we also know that we can only meet GOD half way and ultimately He decides what is best for our family. This has been a HUGE exercise in patients and trust for me, as I like things to happen on my timeline and my way and I don't like relying on others. I know GOD has the perfect plan for us and I am learning to be patient and trust in Him to bring us what is perfect for our family!
