Okay so we've been doing every other day, +opk yesterday, so last night, this morning, and plan for again tonight and tomorrow morning, but what should I do after that? Should I sqeeze another one in tomorrow night (if negative) or should I give dh a break and go again the following day and resume every 2-4 days after that?

I think if you just do today you might be okay. I read if you have sex past O it sways girl. And if you did it too early that sways girl. I got +OPK yesterday since I woke up and even through now. I am going to try and time for tonight and tomorrow morning...maybe tomorrow night depending on temps and what other advice I find. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on it all will respond.

I should add that I've been working out 3 days a week, using preseed during the day, drinking lots of lemon water and coconut water, and really trying to eat more...but mostly just trying to keep myself from getting hungry...I sort of fail at the extra calories...sorry! your attempts look good, I don't think you need anymore attempts today if you have already done 2, if you still get a positive on Saturday then I would DTD, if it is negative then you can give DH a break lolQuote:

DTD after O doesn't sway pink, and even if it did, because you had so many nice attempts prior to that, the sperm that was already ready and waiting and capacitated at ovulation, will fertilize the egg long before any sperm that entered the equation after ov. Sperm takes a minimum of 4 hours to capacitate and generally longer.

Just adding I was a FIRM believer in dtd after O sways pink! I managed to catch DH once, over 24hrs after +opk tiny jump and dump attempt grrr! Its a boy!:) The diet, supps, body muscle improvement is the priority, and as an extra bonus if you and DH can manage to fill the crypts plenty before that egg pops out then that is a great place to be aswell, especially for peace of mind! After all each dtd can send millions of swimmers that way each time, millions!!!! LOL!!

Thursday night, Friday 4am and then late Friday night (dd didnt go to bed until late), then 4 am again today and I about cried when my opk was positive again this morning. I know it's still early, but man...making a baby when you already have a baby is really tiring. I just want to crawl back in bed and sleep for the rest of the day!

It doesn't matter how long your OPK stays positive for - you have prob. already ovulated. IT's 8-48 hours after your first positive OPK, regardless of how long they stay positive for.
No one knows if any of this is "right or wrong" and that is almost certainly different for each couple anyway, so everyone should do what feels right to them!!!Quote:

I did do every other day AF-O without protection. I knew when I would get my +opk, so I planned accordingly. So Tuesday we bd, then I got my positive opk Thursday so we had pm bd, then Friday we had early (4:30am) bd, then again Friday night, then Saturday morning (again 4:30 am...so as to not be interrupted by toddler) i got my negative digital opk (cheapie was still saying positive, but i trust the digital brand more...)so I stopped, and now I'm 5dpo and we bd again just to keep DH's supply healthy in case we missed the last egg.
I did the timing last time and only bd without protection after +opk and ended up with a girl, so I was more okay with not bothering with that plan after reading the information on here. Lots of other stuff has changed for me (diet, exercise) so why not try something different this time
Here is with dd (notice the nice "i get a great night's sleep" temping, lol). I honestly didn't think I caught the egg this time around, so was surprised when my AF didn't show up when it was supposed to.

I'm basically following the advice I got here and hoping for the best. I don't have the time or energy to do all the research on my own, so I paid for my personal thingy. So all fingers crossed that it works out :)
I really believe that there is something to reg. exposure to hubby's semen swaying blue. I think it's a bad move when blue swayers avoid sex because they're scared of DTD before O day, because the hormones in semen may be sending some signal to your body that daddy is around and that seems to sway blue for reasons we don't totally understand. (not that daddy is not around for people with lots of girls, of course)Quote:

This is an unusually long time for me to be waiting for an opk. My longest wait to O has been at cd18. So I have every right to believe that I should get a +opk tomorrow, buuuut I may not. We Dtd this morning since it was a Dtd-day and if it was + we could have done twice today. But alas, it wasn't.
So the question that I'm going back and forth on is if I should Dtd tomorrow morning, trusting that I should get a +opk, allowing me to Dtd twice. Or should I just wait for it to happen, which means that if I don't Dtd, and it is positive, I will only Dtd once tomorrow.
Man, when did ttc become a science? Lol
(Auto correct capitalizes Dtd for some reason, lol)

Your frequency pattern is such that even if you only were to get in one atempt at pos. opk, you'd really have TWO in your fertile window, because you are DTD every other day which is great!!! So no matter what you'll be in with 2 attempts, if you can get 3, even better, but 2 attempts is still better than one! :)
Well, it's negative again! This is crazy! The lines are soooo dark, but the darn digi still won't give me a face.
Dh is working an all-nighter after working all day (6-4 today, and 9pm tonight-3pm tomorrow), chances a he's going to be full of insane amounts of caffeine...will he be killing all my healthy sperm tonight? :(

He can't help that an emergency came up and he needs to work, but I'm seriously bummed by this. He has informed me that next month we will not be Dtd before his triathlon because I zap all the energy from him and he wants to do well, and the month afterwards he has a mud-run and the story will probably be the same :( I'm feeling like if I don't make it happen this month, I'm going to have terrible chance at making a proper sway attempt. And if that's the case, why the heck did I even bother to learn all this stuff? Ugh!
Oh I know rabbit it's soo frustrating. My husband just says it shouldn't be this way, it dhould be relaxing and just having fun and doing it when we want lol but then we would for sure gave our fourth girl, although dh doesn't care it's more me ;) try not to stress as hard as it is. My dh loves running races Nd stuff as well and is a firefighter so works night shifts and of course was doing night shifts when I o'd this cycle so we just did our best and what will be will b e. that is all we can do. You can vent to me more if you want ;) good luck.
The caffeine isn't ideal but it's not going to kill everything off. When it comes to swaying, all you can do is all you can do, and there's no changing it. I actually think that your sense of urgency is good for your blue sway (that's kinda the way the boy moms feel most of the time about everything) and while it's not fun, it may be a sign that your sway is working.
I am crossing fingers and toes that it works out and you guys get some good attempts in, culminating in BFP!!
Well, he didn't end up having much coffee (and complained loudly about it). And now we have a night to ourselves, but still no +opk.

It's possible to not ovulate but if you are a blue swayer and you stop ovulating, we need to reevaluate what is going on, because that indicates you are getting PCOS-tendencies going on from TOO high testosterone and we need to tweak diet and supps. :)
I think I was just getting worried because it was so late, I got a nice spike today, so I think the stress just had me running behind schedule.
