I tested today and got a faint line. What does that mean? At what point would it be a strong line?
I know I'm in the fertile days because I got thin ewcm yesterday and today, but I don't know when to start counting from. Should I test again tomorrow?

O test would need to be at least as bright as the control line. Pregnancy is any line... x

If you have a regular 28 day cycle, you should start doing the OPKs around day 9 or 10. A +OPK is one where the test line is the same or darker than the control line. In a nutshell, many woman ALWAYS have the faint line, it does not mean ovulation though.
Needs to be as dark or darker.
I didn't realize some women always get a faint line.
Now I'm kind of scared I missed it. We dtd cd 10,13 & 15 so it's possible if I O'd early we dtd at the right time. The no ewcm is throwing me off, I'm usually in tune with my body.
Clearly I'm obsessing. I'm just thinking...I've had thin ewcm the past 3 days so I should get thicker ewcm tomorrow & a + opk. If not, why would I have had the thin ewcm the past couple of days? It only happens (to me) right before O. Of course when I'm stressed my cycles can get messed up and go longer but for the most part O is cd 14/15. Maybe it'll still come tonight
Hmmm not sure. But yeah I get a faint line every time then suddenly gets super dark when I O.
I recommend doing a test around 2pm and a test around 10pm in case you have a short surge. Depending on how long your cycles are you should start testing every day around cycle day 9 or 10.
After you get a positive (where the line is as dark, or darker than the control line) it means you will ovulate in the next 12-36 hours, so get to business lol ;)
Got a definite + opk just now at 12:30am. It was negative at 11am today so I have no idea when the surge began and how much longer I have left. Do I just assume 12 hours?
Damn. DH is asleep and has to leave for work at 6:30am. I can try and catch him for a quickie before he leaves. Will it be too late at that point? I don't want to miss this window :(
I woke poor DH up and we dtd. What a trooper lol he's going to be tired tomorrow but at least we have a good chance now

Average is 36 hours past +OPK, but can range anywhere from 24 - 48 hours past +. I think you timed it great :wink:
