Debating trying this month again or waiting



Me - Vitex for 3 months,
Vit C
Aspartame
Folic Acid


Hubs - Licorice root
Vit C
Cranberry

Dieting, unhealthy but not LE, BMI is 20.1.

Planning on Rephresh 24 hours before dtd and dtd 24 hours after + opk.

Thoughts?

What would be the motivation behind waiting?

Looks great to me! What's the purpose of the Vit C? When you say dieting, are you allowing enough gaps where your blood sugar is low (vs snacking)?

Lastly, I *think* I've seen the one attempt after +opk to be the night of you getting it that morning...so I was interpreting that as being more like 12 hours after opk. Are you going for an O+12?

I'm also wondering why you'd wait 24hrs after pos OPK?

Last month we dtd only hours before + opk. The night before and got + opk in the morning. But didn't get pregnant. Due to both my boys and my ultrasounds dating I believe I ovulate 48 hours or do after + opk.

I don't eat breakfast. I go hours some says but other days may snack.
To wait and do better on diet. Lose some weight. But thing is not sure that'll ever happen!


Vit C is for something.. because I'm nursing and can't take something else.

I think in your position I'd DTD the evening you get the pos OPK, so about 12hrs later. In fertile CM the swimmers could easily survive long enough so I don't think that's why you didn't catch last time

Can I hijack your thread Becca ;)
This will be my 3rd attempt after quitting BCP. I have not observed much CM these days, I am used to a lot EWCM. I am also used to early OPKs like 48 hours before O, and I have also observed that I am totally dry on O day.
Is it absence of Fertile CM and cut off that makes it hard for me to concieve?
I am not doing rephresh this time, and maybe lay down for 30 min instead of 5 min to give it a better chance.

What do you ladies think????

:agree: It's FINE to have an attempt 2 days before you ovulate!!! That's good odds of conception - much better than O day.
