Brown Spotting...

Hey lovely ladies,

First time posting in the pregnancy forum! I just got my BFP today. I would be more excited except I've been having brown spotting since last night. I have had enough that I need to wear a liner and tonight when I wiped after my bfp there was a lot of it. I took a progestone pill and a few minutes ago I had no spotting when wiping.

Anyone have experience with this? I was supposed to get AF today, that is why I'm doubting its an implantation bleed so late....I'm not sure if I should ring my Dr this early or just wait it out....this was our third month on Clomid....TIA!

I had brown bleeding early on with my first child and the Dr told me it was old blood (brown) and she is 10 now.

I had brown spotting off an on throughtout my whole pregnancy with DD2 and DS

About 2 days after I found out I was preggo with DS2 I had brown spotting. Scared the absolute s**t out of me! It stopped after a day or so then started up again 3 days after that. I had to have an early u/s and a blood test to check my levels. All came out perfectly and I now have a really big for his age and oo so extra cute little boy!

Oo and I should add that my bleeding started the day I should have had my period as well! I really wouldn't worry! The way it was described to me was that my body knew I was pregnant but at the same time it tried to have a period but my hormones were high enough that it was able to stop itself and only released a little old (brown) blood.

The progestetone pull can cause it and it is old blood. If the sticks are darkening, I'd say you're fine!

Thank you ladies! This is so reassuring to me. I took another test this morning and it was still bfp but not darker yet, same color as yesterday. This afternoon I got a sudden wet feeling and found some pinkish tint to.the brown...God I hope this baby is healthy and sticks. Thank you for sharing your stories!

I thought I should share with you that I got a BFP at 9DPO and started spotting at 10 DPO, it lasted a day and a half, more like old blood mixed with a bit of red. It was pretty scary but now it's 12 DPO and the spotting stopped, leaving just yellowish CM (ewww! sorry!). Sticks are also getting darker, my 11 DPO was very similar to 10DPO but today it was definitely darker. I hope the spotting stops and you have a sticky bean with a very healthy pregnancy.

I'm happy to report that I drank a lot of water and kept my feet up and took a baby aspirin last night and ive had no spotting today! just creamy white and a bit yellowish like you! also got a bfp on a digital this morning - Tuesday it was negative. the lines on regular tests aren't getting darker, they are staying the same but I'm feeling much more positive now!

So glad to hear that it stopped! I am due on 26th July! I am still weaning off aspiring, hope to be completely out of it in another 2 weeks or so. Pink dust for us! x

Cool you read Tarot! Me too! :) Tarot cards says I'll have a boy, but I don't trust it. My gut feeling says boy though. What was your biorhythm like when you conceived? Mine said girl and the moon was waxing crescent, do you know if that moon means boy or girl? Not a clue here. :)

My biorhythm was girl too! Fingers crossed for us! I've been a little nervous to check my moon LOL so I haven't yet. But I use the zodiac signs so when the moon is in girl signs (Cancer, Virgo, etc) vs boy signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, etc)

My biorhythms were correct for my past pregnancies too! I find biorhythms to be super accurate if you are affected by them.

But if you give me your O date I can see what phase the moon was in....if you are brave....lol....I'm too scared myself, I already knew I was in girl territory with my biorhythms when I conceived.

That's so cool! I'm not scared. O day was Nov 2nd and I am in Australia (don't know if that makes any difference).

Mine both say boy BUT for my son it said Girl!! I don't believe in it.

You are pretty close to the cusp because it turns to Scorpio, a girl sign, in the first few hours of the 3rd (just after midnight).

I'm hoping we both get our pink bundles!! It's fun and interesting to look at all the different gender method predictions (chinese gender, tarot, old wives tales, etc) and it helps pass the time by. :)

By the way, I've never found a chinese gender chart to be right for all of my kids! Do you know a good one? ;)
