Atomic and charting experts I need some input, please!

First of all this chart is from my first Provera round and I'm supposed to start my next Provera round this Thursday along with Clomid. After seeing this I'm a little confused and paranoid:
1. My cervix never changed (low and firm)
2. Creamy to sticky Cm
3. I cheated 4 days this week due to leaving for the holidays with dh family (although I skipped breakfast each day and tried to eat more cake, rice and other veggies more than meat, but I'm sure I went over my calorie intake)
4. I had the big O every time we dtd ( we thought I wasn't going to Ov, since I haven't been for about 6 mos)
5. I hope I didn't screw up my sway
I will be using the FRER 6 days early test before starting my Provera and Clomid does it look like Ov even though my cervix and cm didn't show so. Any inputs please, TIA :)

it does look like an ovulatory chart for NOW but that may change, temps can drop and if you look at your temps from earlier in the month they are all in line with what your temps are now. I would bet against you having ovulated with the understanding that it's not as cut and dry as all that and I can't say at this stage.

I think the temps are generally more reliable than cervix/CM.

For future reference, your body works and works to fix your cycles and eventually even if you didn't change diet, do provera, etc. you would ovulate/menstruate as your metabolism adjusted.It's just that it might not be regular at a lower weight. So you can't rely on the fact that you haven't been ovulating, even for 6 months, because you WILL ovulate again eventually!!

You didn't mess up your sway, if you did ovulate it was probably because of the cheating and maybe even the big O's. :)

Thank you for your response Atomic, I can't help but think I screwed up thanks to the cheats and Big O's. I keep telling my dh "I knew I should have abstained from the Big O's"..his reply "you needed them ,because you haven't had them in a looong time" lol Ha! He is so calm about everything. In his words "I don't understand why your nervous and freaking out..we've been praying to God for months for our baby girl and for you to Ov, just be thankful that he's sending us a signal and we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel". I know he's right and I just need to stop regretting my cheats and BIg O's :(

Well, it's always something though. Invariably something doesn't go according to plan and those things are minor - I doubt female orgasms sway by much and you needed the cheating desperately so that is not anything to worry about either.

I had orgasms when I was getting my DD - my husband is unlivable-with if I don't.

I had multiple Os while getting my only girl. Several times a day--we went away for the weekend for 3 days, and DTD like 3 times a day and I didn;t know anything about swaying, I was just having a good time. Don't stress. You can't tell me every little girl out there is the result of a non-orgasmic mother! There's just too many in the world!!! You deserved it, I'm sure your sway will be fine.

Sigh, seriously thank you ladies so much for telling me that. After reading this I feel a lot calmer. I will be testing this Friday (8dpo) with FRER 6 days sooner tests since that's the day I'm supposed to start my next round of Provera long with Clomid. Thanks for your inputs:)

Gee whiz, I think you should talk to your doc first and say that you had a chart which seemed possibly ovulatory. I would certainly not have any possibly pg woman start Provera at only 8 DPO and I think they told you that only because they didn't think you would ovulate when you did. My advice is to wait 14 DPO and possibly 16 DPO to see if you have a bleed on your own (but also take at least 2 pregnancy tests) and no unprotected intercourse in the meantime.

temps still up today, I would def. wait!!! Good luck for best possible outcome whatever that may be.

Thanks Atomic! I didn't temp yesterday because I kept stressing over everything and woke up at 1a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep. I was a nervous reck thinking how I may have swayed blue (if I do get a bfp)!

that is one of the main reasons why i don't temp, I know i'd sit there thinking about it all night worried I'd miss the right time.

I'll keep you posted on my results, if I get a bfn then I will start my most awaited Clomid and do my best sway.
