I've heard/read that october is a very good month to ttc a boy. what other months are good to ttc ab boy?
I think anytime during winter is meant to be good.
I heard/read that the most boys are born in September so conceive in dec or jan!
I honestly don't think it matters too much, so ttc when you need to!
If it helps any i have 6 boys and these are the month i concieved. July-september-july-february-may-september.

Mine were conceived in November, September and January so they kind of fit the theory - but I see that many others don't!

July and Jan are prob. somewhat neutral, although (as you may have guessed LOL) I feel "better" about July for boys and Jan. for girls.
You could always come and live in England - we had our whole summer in April and it's been miserable ever since. We've been stuck inside all weekend while it pours down with rain!

It is the exact opposite for you, in the Southern Hemisphere we might expect to find (to my knowledge, this HAS NOT been studied yet - I am extrapolating the data from the Italian studies) a peak in boy conceptions in April and a peak in girl conceptions in Oct. There are often "runs" on a particular gender it seems like and it doesn't count until it's in the hundreds or thousands of people.
I have noticed that here too. We were on a major girl wave here when I conceived both my DDs. Especially DD2--I knew about 8 people having girls at the same time, and only 2 boys. Right now there seems to be a boy wave, so I am hoping to hop on!Quote:

Keep in mind too that beyond coincidence, there are factors that do seem to sway such as, socioeconomic status or cultural habits and dietary patterns, that may play some role in gender ratio. I know there are a lot of girls among the teachers at the Seventh Day Adventist school near our home but I don't think it's "something in the water" or anything, it's because they're vegetarians.Quote:
