Also the heart rate was 135bmp - doesn't that usually indicate boy??

I am new to it as well but if that IS the nub then it looks horizontal which means a girl, but the heart rate is low like they say a boy's is.. not totally sure here... sorry im not much help lol.. good luck though, I am trying to figure out what I am having too lol

Girl. Both my boys heart rate was 145 (girl zone). Do not read into the heart rate. That is the nub and looks girly. The cord "normally" looks like three floating dots above the baby. Congrats!

Ok so here's the thing. I'm still holding out for a boy.
This is my friend's sono and hers ended up being a boy. I know the nub theory is 80% accurate, so does that give me hope for a boy? lol I'll be happy with a girl, already have a name picked, just curious. See how her baby's is horizontal like mine? Attachment 16816

I´d say girl. also from the looks of your friends sonogram is that a picture from before 12 weeks. but you do see that it´s not a forked nub, and that the top part could be shifting. (either way..)
