12+2 wk ultrasound...guesses??

Here "it" is ladies...the nub shots.
Unfortunately -- the doctor could not tell me. She knows me well, and said she wanted to tell me so badly; but she just was not sure. She said it could definitely be a girl, but she could not say positively.
So now unfortunately I have to wait 6 more weeks til my 18 to find out!!
At least its not pointing in the air. And I think the nub at the end is pointing straight, not angled up.
But I wish the doctor would say "girl" but the baby was moving SOOOO much (like summer saults, butt in the air, flipping around) and they could barely get the measurements they were looking for no less get a good gender guess. I was in there for 45 minutes them trying to get the shots they wanted.
At best, at least they did not say it was defnitely a boy like my last 3 babies.
What do you all think? Do I have hope for a dd?

It's got a nice fork. And is pretty straight. For gestation, I don't know the angle is enough to lean me boy. It's really slight and 12 1/2 weeks, I guess I'd expect a tad more if the nub was going to head upward. I'm with the tech, 50-50. I can see this nub going either way. Sorry!!

Ya, I was just reading up on the nub.
Not to boost myself up-- but it was saying that with a girl the end is straight and looks like 2 white lines, like a fork. You can kinda see the fork in these pics on here, but when you see the u/s pic in person the fork is much more defined -- not sure why it didn't come out as good on the computer.
Also, it was saying that the girl nub is longer and the boy seems to be shorter with more of a bulb at the end not 2 straight lines.
I know with my ds's nub's there was a clear bulb, but not with this one.
I'm just hoping...

Its pretty long and flat!! Although there is a slight angle up but as you said if the baby was moving lots it could just have been the movement captured! At least its got definite potential!! FX you get a girl!!!

There's a small angle, but I agree that the shape is girly. GL!

My nub is a bit more up and I still got about 20+ girl guesses lol So, I'm leaning slightly pink for you honey :)

Looks really promising! You guys have such the nubs lately! Keeps a girl on the edge of her seat!

awww...ya, the baby was flipping around and kept arching its back.
It made it very hard to get the nub shot. The tech tried as hard as she could with all the movement, and told me she isn't supposed to give these nub pic's out anymore. I said I wouldn't tell :)

While I wish with all my heart that this was even just a couple days later, I will give a (very very) tenative girl guess. I think we would have seen at least a bit more action by this point - but then again I've seen nubs do some crazy things all of a sudden.
