Power of the shower??

I have been hearing from people here and there that they conceived their daughters in the shower. Anyone here to attest to that?! Anyone conceive a boy in the shower??

I am trying to decide what BD position I want as all of my boys were pretty much missionary conceptions and I am kind of leery about using that one again. I thought I could maybe do the shower and get the jump and dump, hot water factor and the ions going all at once. This would probably eliminate the need for lube or maybe not???

haha! love it!…I'm sure your DH would be keen too! lol! I predict he will have a sudden interest in swaying techniques!

I'm planning on doing our attempt standing in he shower!

When we were ttc our son I know one of the attempts was in the shower but I couldn't say for sure it was that time that made him. The others were normal missionary in bed so probably one of those times! My hubby fancies the shower idea though lol I heard it can sway pink due to the ions thing but that gravity plays a part?! Xx

Yeah exactly...I want the gravity to help take away most of the sperm and the hot shower is good to help with the sperm count too. Of course I am wanting him to take a hot bath prior as well and drink some alcohol. My Dh has a CRAZY high sperm count.

Really?! Nobody conceived a baby in the shower besides Mulberry?! I know there has to be someone out there or people you know who did??

Re lube in the shower, I actually don't like BDing in water as it washes away my natural fluids and makes it super uncomfortable IME. I have to be sure to keep the water off me or it can't even happen.

Yes, my baby girl was conceived in the showers! We took a hot steam shower and he pulled out near the end. I didn't think it was going to work but it did! My 3 boys were all conceived in the bedroom. So maybe there is something to it?

One of my friends conceived her daughter in the shower. In the standing position.

This is a great idea, I might have to try this with my sway because both of my sons were Conceived missionary in the bedroom

At the least I certainly don't think it could sway blue, so if it seems like a fun thing to do, go for it!

I do feel obligated to mention that I do not believe the success or "failure" of anyone's sway has ever come down to sex positions so if you are thinking of doing this in lieu of other, better sway tactics such as diet, exercise, one attempt, please reconsider and do the stronger sway tactics.

Thanks for that, atomic! DTD in the shower is an act of desperation for DH and I, like when we're on vacation at my family's and it's the only place we can have privacy. It's never very comfortable, and awful things like using body wash for lube tend to happen! :suprise:

Been there on more than one occasion!!!

Doing it in the shower is next to impossible for us but we really want to try it out for a daughter...just a feeling Dh is getting. We have totally practiced a couple times and we had to use a stool! lol. Dh is so much taller than me!

Maiden Dh is 6' 5" and I am 5' 6" !! So quite a bit!

My question is should Dh take a hot bath first and then we BD right away in shower or should we skip the bath and take a long shower and BD at the end?

I don't think it matters much, but a hot bath probably does more heat damage. It can get cold sharing a shower head!

Maiden- I think it is pretty crazy we are the opposites with the height! We have similar birthdays too. Mine is November 3rd and his is November 13th.

I think I will maybe have him do a hot bath or heating pad first because you are right the sharing of the shower can get cold at times!

Yes I swayed with a personalized plan. I'm glad you found my plan. I did everything on the plan and I don't think it was one thing that produced a girl. More of a combination of everything and luck! As for the baths I know my dh took hot baths for days leading up to our attempt. I'm not even sure how we ended in the shower, by we did..lol

Omg! Rotfl Rosie about the stool!! I shouldn't though cause we have a height difference too and prob should use a stool! Never thought of that though!

Hot baths suck! Lol! My husband has a scorching bath every. Single.night. Since before our first!! Check my sig;) but maybe he's built up really tough skin around his goods now from heating them for so long so they don't even feel the heat anymore!!

Veering into TMI land but DH and I have a similar difference in height and when we BD in the shower, it's easier to do it in mod. doggie style with me standing up. He can do shallow release if that is a concern for you with that position.
