Hello. New here and looking for support/advice

Hello all. I recently came across this site after spending a few months on the IG site. I realize you all have different views about things. I'm just trying to figure things out. I have been following a combination of le and IG diet with some supplements. We have been attempting the cutoff approach but every month my ovulation gets delayed due to stress. I was nervous about one time after 7 day abstain because that is how I conceived my son. So basically I am just seeking advice as to what I should do, I'm not sure how much you believe in the biorythms and moons but I have a blue day coming up and a full moon. So my question is do we keep Dtd until I get a positive opk? Wait? So confused:worry:

I also came here from IG. I was only there a few days but the sway made morse sense to me here. Do you want to continue the IG/supplements diet? Here, it is theorized that a lot of those things sway boy (supplements, cranberry, lots of dairy, etc). The best chance of a girl is one attempt at +opk or only bd every 4 days so you have one attempt during your fertile window.

I don't believe in biorhythms/moon signs etc but that's just me.

The best results are DTD once at positive OPK.
Have a read on atomics essays and guide to swaying Pink, this offers such good advice and you will have a clearer understanding of everything then xx

I'm confused about which moon is best to TTC for a Girl. I've read that is best TTC at full moon for Pink and some sites say waxing gibbons, half moon???. I would probably consider this if I knew which moon would be best to DTD on!!!.
Can you give any tips?.

Thanks for responding. I'm no expert but can't help but wonder about the biorhythym and moon stuff. I conceived my son the day after a blue day. And I don't think it was full moon but I came across this site:

And I guess depending on the moon sign they predict. Anyone find truth to this. It was right for me and some others I know. I think I'm hoping since my ovulation is already almost a week delayed. I just want to delay more to get out of the full moon. Am I just crazy? Also to get this right, it is suggested to Dtd once at positive opk? What about dh? Does he abstain or release? Thanks!!

I haven't really read about it but I personally feel a bit sceptic about moon phases, ions and chinese calendars. I haven't taken any of those factors into my sway plan.

The way I look at moon and biorhythm, ions etc is - if it's so clear boy or girl, how do boy/girl twins occur? Plus, since it's a 50/50 chance regardless, those methods will SEEM to work some of the time, especially if you only consider a small number of babies. But if you looked at the results for 20+ babies, you'd see those methods are wrong as often as they are right. Furthermore, if there WERE a surefire or even highly successful way to conceive one gender vs the other, surely it would be common knowledge and people wouldn't be paying thousands to select for gender in IVF.

I really hope that charts isn't right or our attempt this month will be boy! :(
Although it looks like it's based on the Chinese chart which said girl for our 5th and 6th boys so it was wrong there too.

I'd try not to stress about the moons and Chinese charts etc and just focus on your diet, attempt, supps etc. Whether you abstain or do FR is very individual and depends on age, your lifestyle etc.

I beg you to stick with one attempt at or around pos OPK as we have been getting 75% range with that. You can do that with abstain or with FR, or even with regular release - frequency and number of attempts are two different things, you can do either or both.

Thanks so much for your replies. I have put no stock on Chinese gender, as that predicted girl for my son. But I couldn't help observe the blue day on biorhythm. I do think I conceived in new moon but it was Sagittarius according to the link I posted above which predicts boy.
So my question is, I am on day 23 with no pos opk yet. I am assuming its delayed again due to stress. Does stress sway boy? I have already abstained 7 days. Do I abstain more? What is the theory behind 1 attempt? I know it's gotten great results it just makes me a tad nervous since its how I got my son. Although I think the bacon cheeseburger and fries I ate the day before could have affected it too, unless I'm just crazy.

I think you are ok to continue abstain for now, but I don't like people going much longer than 10-14 days. You ~may~ want to have DH clean the pipes once and then resume the abstain.

There IS no theory behind one attempt, other than that it seems to be working and also explains a lot about why timing seems to have tricked so many people into thinking it worked lo these many years when it is biologically impossible. I have my ideas about why one attempt works and one of these days I will probably write an essay about it but till then I think ya gotta go with success so I continue to recommend it.

One bacon cheeseburger and fries the day before you ahd an attempt cannot have swayed the odds in any real way. If that were the case I'd just have blue swayers do diet one day before they conceived. :)
