Is it too much??

I am attempting in a week and half, maybe a day or so less. We are planning a late evening attempt after I get back from working out for my hour. Dh is abstaining for around 10 days. We were planning on him taking a hot bath prior and then we are going to attempt in the hot shower. He is also having a drink or two beforehand as am I. The question is should he release once and then we use the second batch or should we use the very first batch coming off the abstain? I was always confused about this. Also is it too much to do the bath and the shower and the alcohol after abstaining?? Anything anyone thinks I should add??

As far as supps go we will both be taking antihistamine. I am doing zyrtec but not sure if Dh should do the same or do sudafed.

After the attempt should I sit down or just keep standing and let most of it run out???

This isn't advice just what I would do so feel free to ignore! If I were going down the abstain route then I would use the third batch of cfr sperm in the shower then rest for a bit. I would try to ensure I didn't have much ewcm as well which may be tricky to check in the shower so I would do so beforehand. The antihistamine you're taking should help dry that up though so that's good. I would not bother with hubby taking one personally as I think he's done enough. Hopefully atomic will be able to guide you through. Have you for membership or a personal sway plan? Xx

No, you should not use the second batch after the abstain. Will lower odds of conception too far.

the rest of the stuff i think is fine to include with the abstain. be careful when you use antihistamine and alcohol, i don't usually recommend both and they can make you super drowsy.

I would prob just let it run out but would not do SET and woudl not be too rigorous about washing up afterwards (sorry a bit gross subject matter LOL)

I really, really, really do not EVER recommend anyone using third batch with any frequency pattern. may as well take a birth control pill. :)

You would undo much of the good of the abstain by doing this (remember, we are going for those licorice jelly beans) and it would also lower odds of conception. If you're doing abstain, then DO abstain.

Please beware the Martha factor, I hate to see you guys going over and over these details that almost certainly do not matter at all. Just pick a method and go with it and leave it at that.

okie doke. So we will just use the first semen after 10 days or however many days it ends up being. It might only be 8 days depending.

Also I wasn't going over and over any details, I was honestly confused about abstaining because I had heard about others doing it with using the second batch and I thought it was suppose to be the first so I was really confused.
