Our twins are here :)

I wanted to update those of you who still remember me. I was due June 29th with b/g twins after one year of trying and swaying and two early miscarriages. Bunnywabbit did update the June/July/August thread.

After a picture perfect pregnancy my water broke at 31w3d and I was kept in hospital on strict bedrest. I had two steroid shots for the babies lungs and a few days later I started bleeding. At 32w2d the bleeding was very heavy and the doctors did not want to wait any longer. Milan and Liah were born May 6th, 8 weeks early via c-section. They were breathing on their own from the very beginning but had to stay in NICU for 4 weeks. Milan, the older twin was weighing 1780gr and Liah was 1880gr. Both were doing great and we were able to take them home at 4 weeks when I should have been 36weeks pregnant.

They are 10weeks old now and we are over the moon happy. I still didn't realize I have my girl and a beautiful little baby boy as well.

Christi it was hard work to get that picture done. Initially I wanted to hold one baby and DH the other one but they were moving so much that they got too heavy for me. We took two single photos with DH holding them and then the photographer photoshopped it to make it one pic. It took ages to get them to sleep in that position.
