Hi :curtsey: I'm currently waiting for AF to arrive, she was suppose to arrive today but she'll no doubt arrive tomorrow, so im a little stuck on what to do because clomid cycles are limited this coming month will be our 3rd month, im wondering, we've been doing every 4 days do I try another cycle with that, add attempt somewhere? (dont get pos opks so dont know when i ov) or go for smep and hope the rest of my sway is good enough?
My Dr recommends taking it days 1-5 which I did and it worked 1st go. What days are you taking? He said new research shows it's more effective.

It too me 3 clomid cycles over 5 months to finally fall (I still had long cycles on clomid - one was 56 days and still going! I had to take progesterone to bring on AF but fell the next cycle). I also never had a pos opk so used maybe baby instead (with the saliva/ferns) and that seemed to be of help.being on clomid and not falling I was so sooo tempted to add more attempts or try SMEP to give myself a better chance of a BFP but upon Atomics advise I stuck with every four days so only having the one attempt in the fertile window and I've just found out it worked for pink! Im pregnant with a baby girl after 8 months of swaying hard! I would drop jellies, antihistamine etc. before adding another attempt.

I'm taking it day 2-6 so pretty early, will ask dr about trying 1-5. Congrats on getting a girl Flowergirl gives me hope, will have to try the maybe baby and stick to 4 days :happy:

I remember being where you are, it's really hard/sad/draining at the time but hang in there, when you finally do fall preg and especially if it's with your DG you look back and think it was alllll worth it :) xx
shoot, only just now saw this - tell me everything you're doing, taking etc.
My advice is to add another attempt at pos OPK at this point (BUT if you're doing other jazz to sway I might have you drop that instead and stick with every 4 day). Since you don't get pos OPK LOL, that is obviously not gonna work out for you so we could, alternatively, bump it to every 3 days. :)
I would try every 3 days.
my sway is LE diet, although not counting calories as I find myself obsessing but its two meals a day and i dont eat before 12pm, two of the boys make sure i have rubbish sleep and am up at 5 every morning (not technically a sway but i do remember reading in one of the essays its more girl friendly lol) clomid days 2-6 and bd every 4 days, DH takes soy iso for 2 wks of each month but he doesnt do anything else (except whinge his sperm isnt working fast enough and that he doesnt get to bd enough... and we wonder why we have boys lol)
I dont know whether it works against me but i love my coffee and diet drinks, they keep me running i usually have 3-5 cups a day with aspartame sweetener and can go through a big bottle of diet coke a day without meaning to. :suprise:
ooops forgot my 5mg folic acid (prescribed) and i take 200mg twice daily lamictal for epilepsy, and sertraline 100mg a day (antiD) prob important to mention that bit lol
