Bd 5 days prior to O? Anyone...if so, what was

I am just curious if there are any women who have conceived a baby of either gender 5 days prior to supposed O date?im 36 and he will be 40in Dec. I am a pretty predictable 28 day cycle and O on CD 15 or 16. We have conceived extremely quickly and basically "on demand" in the past and I have been pregnant 5 times (3 living boys, one angel boy and unknown miscarriage)

We BD on CD 7, 8 and 10. Now he is out of town for work for a couple weeks.

Basically, I wonder if my odds are better for conceiving a girl vs boy based on this crazy timing and even though a all know it is not the timing in and of itself, but in combination with my sway attempt. I've been on the LE diet for at least 5 months now and although it hasn't been perfect, it has been drastically different for me when it comes to skipping breakfast, lowering protein and increased cardio-no weights or strength training. I have lost 13 lbs, although it fluctuates within a couple lbs. I cut out red meat except maybe a couple of small portions per month, potatoes the same, avoid bananas, lowered sugar overall, but I still love sweets and sometimes I'm afraid my blood sugar is not so girl sway friendly. I have been on Zyrtec, all summer. Even need Benadryl on some evenings due to my grass allergies. Drink wine at least 4 times per week or more. Just a glass or two at bed time around 10 and I go to sleep around midnight or later. Don't eat til 11am Or later next day.

Any opinions or examples would be great. Thanks in advance!

You still have a chance of catching the egg 3 boys did you confirm ovulation with charting as perhaps you ovulated earlier than you think! I know baby5 had one attempt 5 days before o and conceived. It took me four perfectly timed bd day of opk to get pregnant and eight months of LE diet. Not true for everyone but a fare few of us took a little longer to conceive. Sounds like you are doing great on the diet so that would help you sway girl, but timing does not sway that is why we are all BD at pos opk. FX you caught the egg! XX

Thank you for the input. I kind of wasn't doing the best in the past week because my kids started back at school and I'm stressed out, also because dh dh to leave for a couple of weeks. I'm a stress eater and sugar is my weakness that I crave when I'm stressed:/ today I got a positive OPK and a lot of EWCM, and I get mettleschmirtz pain. And it looks like I am at least a day sooner than I'd thought. I am very worried that the Zyrtec did not dry up the ewcm and concerned that none of the sperm would make it or that it would be all boy sperm. We never swayed with the LE method and only had swayed once with the "other site" diet and timing method combined. That was obviously unsuccessful, as that was our angel boy. Our third living son is a post deployment day baby- did not sway at all and dh returned and we bd on the day he came home.
Should I take some Benadryl today? I'm not driving anywhere so I might take it to dry up the ewcm before O happens.

I found in my journey there never was a perfect month sometimes you just have to try and not worry if you ate a bit more didn't excersize etc and hope you did enough! I had a ton of ewcm the day of my pos opk and day of conception and none after which is usually opposite for me plus I had like zero the months before we conceived. If you want to up your chances of conception I would not take another Zyryec but if its your first attempt then I probably would :) xxx

Thank you so much for the encouragement and help! I did take Benadryl earlier in the day and took Zyrtec before bed. Also a hot bath and a glass of wine to relax and help with the ewcm because it was still there a little bit. I'm being extra cautious as this is the first attempt. Oh, and nope I had never done opks before at all. This is a first. I usually used my Ovulite which was very accurate in letting me know when I actually did ovulate, not prior. I never temp tracked, but getting O pain/mettleschmirtz always comes for me it seems exactly 2 days prior, I think just because at that two day mark, the pain subsides and cm is very tacky instead of ewcm. We had never tracked timing, etc when we conceived any other time than with our angel boy, even though after that I always knew around when I Ovulated... but I always got pregnant immediately. So I think dh has really strong swimmers and I have extremely sperm friendly environment. I really hope that our age will help out a. It as well as the diet. I really ate so differently within at past year and my workouts really helped me to lose weight and get back to my healthy weight. It's been a great sway and I think I did really well...but if I don't get a bfp this time, I know what to do I this next month :)

I have at least one of mine conceived pretty far from O. I am sure I Oed early that month BUT we DTD right after I got off my period so it had to be 4-5 days before, even if I ovulated CD 9 or 10. He was a he, but one person doesn't prove anything and I had a boy-friendly diet/lifestyle.

I'm crazy- and took a couple of tests already...I'm about 6 dpo and an extremely faint line. I've had bfps at 8 days...and I always test early., but I know I'm not alone in that��. I think I am pregnant! I am of course, analyzing my sway and waiting to test again.

Wow that is early!! What test was it? I would try again at 8 dpo with a frer X hope it is your BFP!!

I suspect you ovulated early if you got a faint line at 6DPO. FX and pink dust.

Yeah-I'm thinking a day or two earlier than I originally expected. I just use the cheap dollar tree tests. They have been the most reliable for me and for a dollar, I can afford to test waaaay too early haha

Evap lines, I suspect. AF came along but it's all good. Gave me some time. Dh will be home right when aF is done so, I'm sure bd possibly every day will be the method lol.
