Above all I am so happy to have been to my scan and the baby is looking healthy, growing well etc. The sonographer gave me 3 pictures and none of them seem to show the nub. ho hum. Well I am posting anyway just in case. I read the guidance on here before the scan and I honestly did not see any sign of boy bits but that doesn't mean anything because I am not an expert! I couldn't even tell what the spine was, I commented that something looked like a chicken beak and the sonographer said it was the spine lol. I enjoyed the scan which took about 10 mins as the baby wasn't in the best position for checking the legs apparently and that might be why she didn't get good nub pictures. Here they are. i have taken 2 in different lights as well just in case its more detailed. Its going to be a looooooong wait until the 20 week scan on 4th November.....

Oh my goodness!!! Adorable baby :) I have no idea....In the second pic, is that white line sticking out the nub? The one sticking out just under the leg (?).
Apparenlty, I see the wrong thing as the nub all the freakin' time. But if that were the nub and I were to guess...I'd guess girl....for what it's worth :)

I am sorry, I didn't see anything that made me confident enough to guess. Congrats on baby though.

Top pic poss boy if that's the nub but then 2nd pic down might be the nub and that looks girly!!! So no help here:/

Thanks everyone! I'm kind of glad it looks uncertain, that way I don't have my hopes in one direction before the next scan. I'm just glad he/she is healthy and I can finally be open at work - hiding this bump has not been easy the past few weeks!!

I would go with a girl, the sticking out straight line on the last scan especially demonstrates a girl nub. Been going nuts with my scan pic trying to guess by comparing to other scans. As long as they arrive safe 😇

I can't see any clue but if I had to guess it would be a girl guess I so hope this is a princess!! Congrats on a healthy little baby too x

Thanks everyone for your guesses. I went for a secret gender scan today at 16 weeks (even DH doesn't know) and the sonographer is very confident this baby is a girl!! Once I get over the shock I will update my sway. Thanks be to god and atomic!

Congrats once again! Fantastic news! Are you going to go shopping?

Congratulations :)

Not yet because I'm not supposed to know until Christmas hehe so maybe I'll wait until the January sales unless I see something so cute I have to buy it (then I will have to hide it lol)

A friend if mine with 2 girls born in march and April has already told me several times I'm having a girl and she is giving me some baby clothes. I know once I start shopping I'll get carried away so best wait if I can :)

Definitely buy one cute thing to celebrate anyway!
