You can drink those before October, it's less then 3 months before your attempt.
BSD and COT only af->O, your body needs 2 weeks break.
ACV I believe is safe throughout the whole cycle. For URAL I have no idea.
When you attempt, atomic suggest to stop green tea in 2WW.
Make sure you are taking at least 2000mcg FA daily!!!! BSD and COT deplet your body from FA and green tea slows its absorption so never take FA with it. HTH! :luck:

Well, if you believe in the mineral theories then one might wish to to "prime the egg" for 3 months in advance (which is the lifespan of the egg) with the minerals, purpose being to electrically charge the egg to receive a sperm of a particular gender.
Now if you don't believe in the mineral theories, the idea would be that more of all minerals, inc. sodium and potassium, sway blue. But we know for a fact that there is such a thing as too much of some minerals and if you get too many of certain minerals, it can actually reduce fertility and sway PINK (esp. in DH.) It doesn't seem beyond the realm of the possible to me that too much sodium or potassium could be just as bad as not enough.
Plus, BSD and COT are not great for your health. If none of you ever did COT I would be a happy camper!!!
I think ACV is just fine for as long as you would like to drink it (even when you're not TTC any more.) As is gelatin.
Okay, well, this leads me to the next question: How much of each supplement should DH be taking? He takes:
CoQ10--300 mg
B12-- 1000mcg
E--400 i.u.
L-arg--500mg
Fish Oil (mercury Free)--1200mg
Zinc--50mg
L-Carnitine--500mg
Daily multivitamin
Is all of that okay? Should he up the doses or lower them? Should he add anything?
Im not sure if I believe in the minerals but this is what I try to do to my egg now .Started this month and hope a nice "blue egg" pop out in Sept. LOLQuote:

But I do it slow! So this is first cycle I only drink 1 ACV and 1 gelatin and 1 ASG or URAL (what ever comes first in the mail, still not here) no BSD or COT for me. Next cycle I will do 2 /day from this 3 drinks and the 3th is Sept. when we will attempt so I will do 3 of this drinks/day. Also will give drinks for DH but only in Sept.
I just hope it's ok like this.
I think this is all ok for DH. Don't know if he need more stuff?

Zink 50 mg
Vit. E 400 iu ( I read that take 3/day from this not sure why?? we take 1 for now)
fish oil 1000mg 2/day (bottle says take 3 /day maybe we do that in Sept.)
folic acid 2400mg
potassuim 99mg
L-caritine 500mg
ginseng 100 mg (bottle says take 200 of this will do that only in Sept.)
ubiquinol CoQ10 200mg
Vit. B12 500 mg
Vit. D 400 iu
also healthy stuff:
wheat grass
grape seed
BY
oat capsule (avena sativa)
and he drinks every day some:
green tea with lemon
V8 juice
V8 fusion
club soda
other juice drinks
(we stoped drinking diet pepsi so have to drink something else right ?lol)
He will drink some asg or ural, gelatin and acv in Sept.
What do you guys think of this? Is this a good plan for DH?
Flava, your DH is taking way more stuff than mine! Should I add more things?? No way my DH will drink green tea or V8 juice!!
Only more sup for my DH is ginseng, Vit. D ,potassium , FA !
The other stuff is just healthy green sups and antioxidants .
I would try to give him Vit D and FA for sure! The vit. D is only 1 very small pill /day and FA is a small pill to.(this are important to take for DH) So maybe he won't complain for that.:fingers:
As long as you don't exceed the suggested dosages on the bottles then all that should be fine. Sorry I feel like a butthead but it takes me forever to go and look up each supp individually...
The exception would be the zinc. That is a lot of zinc. He probably doesn't need that much. Feel free to cut that amount in half and if he is getting some in his multi already, he for sure needs to cut back a little.
The minerals you ahve to look out for are things like copper, selenium, boron...these are included in some multivitamins and then people double up and take additional forms in supps and those can be quite bad for you and/or sway pink if you take too much.
