I feel like Ellie in this picture. Defiant and crushed at the same time.

My in-laws are coming tomorrow. Last summer DH told them to knock off the comments like "why don't you have a boy?" "When are you going to have a boy?"

The comments have stopped, but I still know how they feel. I am a failure to them. The only DD/DIL of their many kids who hasn't produced a boy. Heck, I can't even produce a DC4 at this stage of the game. And their is my super SIL...she just produced her 2nd boy a few months ago, 2 boys in a row....No DIL has ever done such an amazing feat in the history of this family....

DD1 has decided that she is no longer opposed to me having another baby, in fact she is begging me to have another baby. She misses having a baby around. Now I have all 3 DDs begging for a baby on top of all the other pressure to have another baby because of my age, DD3 getting older, DH wanting to be done having babies, etc.

I am having a pity party right now....just have to get it out somewhere.

Oh Adia, I so feel for you. ((Hugs)) I wish I could send you all of my blue dust, I'm totally done with it. GD is a bitch in itself without struggling to conceive on top. :( What are you doing re ttc at this stage? I really hope you get pregnant very soon. X

I feel you soooo much!

My DH is the first child of my in-laws. Where I live we usually name children after our parents. If I had a son he would be named exactly like my FIL cause my DH has the name of his grandfather (my FIL's father) so his son would be named exactly like my FIL.
The stress that was put on both of us to have a male offspring has been sooo annoying.
Imagine that the day I gave birth to DD2 they gathered at the room and the first comments after , of course, wishes for the child were that the 3rd will definately be a boy and that I should not worry about a 3rd c-section, cause they are totally safe!!!
That day I decided I would not have a 3rd baby....
The saddest part of it all is that we all live at the same city and like 15 minutes from each other's house, so I have to put up with them every day.
To top it all everybody mentions that my FIL does not enjoy spending time with my DDs, his dissapointment it that obvious!!!!!
I'm only into having a 3rd baby and trying for it to be a boy, cause I see all my friends that have boys and I see the bond they have with their sons, whereas in my case (and most of my friends may I add) my DDs are crazy about their dad, he is their GOD and he is in love with them too. He would be happy even if we did not have a 3rd baby or if we do and it turns out to be another DD.
But I do understand your feelings and I can totally relate with you!!!
I only hope that both our futures include raising our boys!!!!

Sorry to hear about this. Hugs :) Which movie are we talking about? I got really behind on all the disneys for a few years

It's UP, my boys love it. I think they have done a great job in capturing their love and hurt in only a few minutes, it gives me goosebumps every time.

I have seen up. I LOVE the first part of the movie. It is so lovely and so sad too. Made me cry dammit. She is a character that was shown for too brief a time for sure! I really hope you can get your number 4 boy and me my number 4 girl. Wouldn't it be so nice to be able to stop worrying about all this stuff

Thanks for replying Dream...I was having a sh*tty day when I wrote this.

To answer your question I have done everything except IVF, can't afford it.

I did find a new doctor to help me with my thyroid issue. He almost had me in tears when he said, "we'll help you get pregnant". He knows I don't need fertility treatment as much as I need help with my thyroid issue. I have tried accupuncture, swaying with every supplement for TTC Blue known, I have tried clomid 2x....what haven't I tried? I honestly think the sperm and egg are meeting just fine, but I can't seem to hold on to it because of messed up hormones.

I followed up with my doctor yesterday and he gave me a bunch of new supplements to help deal with Hashimoto's disease and the chronic inflammation I have in my body. I am going to try an elimination diet that he prescribed and see if that doesn't help clear things up too...I am ovulating right now so we are TTC but if I get a BFN I have to take a break for 2 months because I am in school full time...

My only solace right now is that I have a doctor that cares. He isn't even a fertility doc, just a family doctor who cares.

Mama...that is awful...I can't believe people were giving you pointers on having a 3rd when you had just had DD2....clearly she did not matter to them.

I am sorry....at least you know I have in-laws that make me feel horrid too...even if they aren't trying.

I hope you keep TTC to yourself, you don't need any help (more like harm) from you in-law's when TTC.

My DDs adore DH too. He has said many times that he'd love a boy but he likes his girls and would be just fine with another one.
Thanks for replying...sometimes the GD just gets to be more than I can bear with all the other stress in my life.
