Confused by baby's nub.

Taken at 12 + 5.
I thought it looked like a girl nub. I have 4 boys already.
But I have had some say the skull is a boy's skull, yet even that looks different to my last boys 12 week scan. Most have been saying girl on the nub though!
I would love to hear others thoughts?

Skull flat=boy rounded=girl apparently we'll both my boys had a rounded skull and my girl a flat skull, also most girls I've seen have been flat and boys rounded sloping at top so I would say pink skull and nub for you x

I think the skull theory only works with kids in the same family. I think genetics are too strong to enable us to make comparisons with kiddos in different families but my daughter def. looked different from my boys in the skull. So if this pic looks different from boys I would have hope for pink.

FWIW my daughter had the same flat face that your baby did (and that was how I could see she was diff. than my boys were) GL and pink dust.

Thank you! The head shape and face are definitely different to my last son, who was born last year. I have been furiously comparing! Hehe. I don't have my other boys scan pics to hand to compare those.

I sure hope so. A little man would be more than welcome, it's all I have ever known. But to get that longed for girl on my final pregnancy journey, would just be a dream come true!

Leaning girl

With skull I dont look for flat vs round I look for the cavebrow indent for boys which I dont see on this one. So that plus nub I think Girl!

I thought the same about the brow indent. My last baby had one in his 12 week scan pic, yet this one does not. Ahhhhh I can't wait until my next scan on Nov 11th. Fingers crossed for my first pink. But happy either way x

I see everyone has said pink I thought nub pointed up slightly but I'm no expert so I was gonna say boy but after seeing I'm the only wrong I'm prob wrong lol good luck

I had mixed guesses on here with my babys nub this site is amazing and overall much better than Ingender but they are good at guessing nubs!! Have u posted on there. My boy and girl had similar nubs but both time they guesses correct on there.

I have yes :highfive: and I have had all girl guesses on there. Not one single boy.getting my hopes up so bad (I have 4 boys) but I know it could go either way.

Oh well there pretty good on there my boys on pointed slightly that's why unless I see a completely straight one I never guess girl!i really hope u get ur girl xx
