We never drank with our boys. And drank at least once daily from AF - O (for me DH drank daily) with this one and its a girl!
But ofc we did so much more then that.

Thanks ladies...so it looks like alcohol could slightly sway! I'm finding it so hard deciding what's best to do.
The stats are pretty good for alcohol swaying pink. Less nutritious drinks like hard liquor and white wine are recommended, but many of us drink red wine or whatever we prefer to drink. The recommended amount is 1-2 drinks per day maximum. I would not start drinking if you don't like alcohol or don't want to (I doubt it sways much on its own), but if you like to drink it's definitely worth adding to your sway.
Thanks bluebonnet - I was thinking of us both having some on BD night lol.
I've never drank in my life (just water and green/white tea) and I have two boys.
This time around I had 1-2 shots of vodka in a diet cherry Dr. Pepper each night from AF-O. I started drinking just for my sway. DH drinks nightly (wine), but gave it up for 30 days (not for sway purposes) the month of our BFP. We had 4 cycles of BFN before that and I would rather him give up the alcohol than the licorice root (which I was going to drop or decrease next).
Personally I'd stick with hard liquer or beer for DW as red wine has a little more mixed results and has more nutrients. I don't think it matters for DH.
DH and I drank red wine and beer every night for our sway. Worked for me :)
my good friend Jo drinks wine a lot, red wine that is. She loves good quality red wine. She has had two boys in the last 10 years, and lost a baby boy sadly in between, but since I have known her she has had a glass or two every evening.
Thanks ladies...I just can't imagine being lucky enough to have a girl as my third child. I've noticed people seem to get the opposite gender more after 3 of the same sex, I have two.
I personally think it is a good pink sway tactic. I drank light beer when I got my daughter and my husband was drinking more regular beer as well. I never drank with any of my 4 boys, and my husband didn't drink with the first three and only very lightly with the 4th.
Thank you Atomic!!
