HELP! Just got a positive

This is my first month off the BCP and I've just got a positive pregnancy test. I was on the diet for about 9 weeks prior to our attempt/s. BUT I think when I conceived was right after a 5 day holiday where I pretty much went crazy with my eating and didn't exercise :( I feel like I've failed because of this and bound to have another boy! Plus I def had an orgasm and hadn't been taking fibre while on holiday. Eeekkk!! I'm not sure if it was the time we did BD while on holiday which was 18 days ago. Or the next time which was 5 days later 13 days ago (where we used KY) the test is very faint.

Is it more likely it was the second BD if the test is faint?? Sorry for the rant I really didn't expect to get pregnant first month and would have liked to be on the diet/ exercise longer. Plus both boys were conceived first month trying....

Congrats on your BFP!
I conceived both DDs first month TTC (1 attempt), so that should not stress you.
Regarding the rest of your worries I wish I could say something comforting but I am TTC boy so I don't know that much about girl sways.
I wish for a happy and healthy baby girl for you!

Hi, congratulations on your BFP :-) If the test is faint, then I would guess it was from the 13 days ago BD as by your AF due date (around 14DPO) it would be quite low HCG still. Hoping you get a sticky pink xxxxx

Congrats! I also conceived the day before a vacation and I'm worried as well and can relate! The first cycle off bc is a great sway in itself, you have a great shot for pink!

Tey not to worry ...its the overall pic that matters. I conceived this dd during a bad 'eating' week as well since it was a festival season for us.

How was ur diet in 2ww?

Thanks for your support ladies! You understand how nerve racking this is! I guess no one has the 'perfect' sway. But this has still come as a surprise as I never got a true positive OPK.

I have been pretty good during my unofficial 2ww :) I haven't ready Atomics essay on this. What are the main ideas around the 2WW? Thanks for your support!!

5 days of eating can't undo the weeks prior.

I had an O when I got my daughter.

You can't tell when you conceived on the basis of your darkness of pregnancy tests - it's just too inconsistent.

Tons of people have gotten a girl first month out!! Good luck.

I'm not sure if I have an official 2ww essay:oops: but once you get a pos pg test you are fine to come off diet and exercise.

The darkness of the line can mean more than low hcg...it can also mean that your urine was too dilute. You didn't hold it long enough, or you drank a lot of liquids. And it's different for everyone, my sister had the faintest of lines until she was 3 months pregnant! GL!
