With both my boys one attempt at positive opk (that's why I don't really understand how this is part of a pink sway)
Ds1 was one hit wonder
DS2 was everyday for 4 or 5 days
DS3 was O-3 and O-1 I think.
For both of my boys we BD every other day from the end of AF up to the fertile window, then every day until the end of the fertile window. We also continued to BD every other day until my CM was no longer fertile.
I ate a traditional boy diet and lifted weights 30min followed by 30 min of cardio 3-5 times a week. I had no idea about swaying back then- no wonder why I have two boys! Lol!

All the time, was also not trying for DS1 or DS2
We followed the SMEP to try and get prego quickly. Turns out, it's a textbook boy maneuver and recommended here by atomic to TTC Blue.

Ds1: once on O and Ds2 every other day. But it really was more to my diet (HE unintentionally) than anything else. Good luck!
DS 1- multiple bd in fertile window. DS-2. Just once and I'm sure there was a really long cut off as he was a whoopsie as I was sure I wasn't going to ovulate for another week.

We DTD every other day after AF and then 3x in my fertile window (3 days in a row).
twice in fertile period for both
3-5 attempts in fertile window, and with both boys we DTD twice on one day.
We dtd on cc 9, 11, 12, 13, 14. I ovulated cd13.
Ds1 was was week of ov I think we dtd every day & ds2 was conceived on day of ovulation when I got a positive on the clear blue fertility monitor, ttc a little lady next year so avoiding o day by a couple of days!!! 👍
Milly, I think the diet makes the difference. Dont worry about O day 😊
Look at the statistics. one attempt has stayed at about 70% success rate for pink for 3 years. Ignore that at your own peril, ladies.Quote:

With my ds#1, we dtd like rabbits multiple times a day during my fertile window. For ds#2, we swayed hard for pink with one attempt (plus diet, supplements, and whatever else my plan provided). Apparently, despite all the odds, my hubby and I were just destined to make boys!
But I agree with atomic, the stats on one attempt are really good, so if you are trying for blue, I'd definitely try to get a couple of attempts in.

Just once for both Boys BUT we were having regular BD throughout cycle like every 3 days and heavy HE diet etc with DD we hardly BD maybe three times the whole cycle, strict LE diet. I would deft. go for at least 3 attempts in fertile window Xx
